UPCM PGH FESS Skull Base Course

The 30th Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Anterior Skull Base Course is happening on October 16–18, 2026!

Join us for online and face-to-face lectures by specialists in Rhinology, Anterior Skull Base Surgery, and Neurosurgery, followed by a 2-day hands-on cadaver dissection.

This is a PBO-HNS required course. Limited slots available.

This event is hosted by the UP-PGH Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Rhinology, Paranasal Sinus, and Anterior Skull Base Surgery, in collaboration with the Department of Neurosciences, Division of Neurosurgery, and the UP College of Medicine, Department of Anatomy.

On Day 2, the participants had the whole day to engage in live demonstrations from our facilitators from the Departments of ORL-HNS and Neurosurgery, as well as hands-on dissection of thiel cadavers to to enhance their surgical training experience.

UPCM PGH FESS and Anterior Skull Base Course 2025 Day 1

Day 1 of our FESS and Anterior Skull Base course started with a series of lectures on nasal, paranasal sinus, and anterior skull base anatomy, as well as on surgical techniques in FESS, septoplasty, turbinoplasty, and skull base surgery.

In the afternoon, participants took their learning further with hands-on dissection with thiel cadavers, guided by our esteemed consultant facilitators.
