MANILA MADNESS 5 RESULTS ARE IN!
That’s a wrap on Manila Madness 5!
Our Archangel Esports players stepped into the Masters Event and put up some solid results across Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, and Tekken Tag 2.
From making deep runs to getting valuable tournament experience, everyone showed up and competed.
Big thanks to everyone who represented AAE this weekend. Until the next one.

What a weekend at Manila Madness 5! 🔥
Mixed feelings on my run 😅 Tekken 8 didn't go the way I wanted but seeing how fast our local scene is leveling up makes me super proud to compete alongside everyone.
On the bright side, managed to pull off a Double Top 8 finish in both Street Fighter 6 and Marvel Tokon ! 🏆
GGWP to all my opponents, the organizers, and everyone who joined and supported the event. Quick break tapos back to the lab ulit!
You know what i really like about being an FGC fan here in the Philippines?
It doesnt matter who is winning. Everyone is going to cheer for you 😁

Manila Madness 5 is just around the corner! Whether this is your very first local or your first time stepping into a Master-level Major, competing at a big event can feel overwhelming. Here is a quick guide based on my personal tournament experience to keep your run smooth on and off the stage!
Disclaimer:
- These tips are just personal recommendations based on my tournament experience to help first-timers and veterans prepare, not strict rules! Always make sure to read and follow the official event rulebook as the legit authority.
- Updates are Optional but Recommended! If your leverless stick, controller, or converter already works completely fine on PS5/consoles, you don't have to update it!
- DO NOT update the night before brackets! Last-minute bricked controllers do it in advance and test it immediately. Also. always use your motherboard’s rear USB ports when updating firmwares, and double-check your exact board/converter model first!
- All meme clips, music, and anime assets used (including clips from Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games) belong to their respective owners. No copyright infringement intended, used solely for educational and community commentary under Fair Use!
