Pursuant to "Memorandum Circular No. 136", classes and office operations are suspended starting at "1:00 PM onwards" in observance of *"Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day"* and the 34th National Family Week.

Morning Classes (Before 1:00 PM): Conducted via RSL.
Afternoon Classes (1:00 PM Onwards): Canceled.

This adjustment is being implemented in accordance with OVPAA Memorandum No. 45, s. 2026, anticipating potential transport disruptions, major traffic, and road closures due to the scheduled nationwide transport strike and activities commemorating the Anniversary of the Declaration of Martial Law.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR ELECTRONICS, COMPUTER, AND COMMUNICATION STUDENTS & FACULTY:

-Virtual Class Sessions: All lecture and theoretical class sessions will proceed online via designated department platforms (MS Teams / Canvas / Google Meet). Please check your class portals or wait for links from your respective instructors.
-Laboratory Classes & Hands-on Activities: Scheduled physical lab experiments or practical sessions that require campus equipment will be adjusted by your professors. Please wait for direct instructions from your course instructors regarding rescheduled make-up sessions or online alternatives.
-Academic Consideration: Faculty members are advised to extend reasonable academic leniency to students who may experience power interruptions or internet connectivity issues during the online sessions.

🎓 OWWA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR A.Y. 2027–2028 NOW OPEN!

Attention, EsET Students and Incoming Freshmen!

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is inviting qualified dependents of active OFWs to apply for its financial assistance and scholarship programs for Academic Year 2027–2028.

If you are a child or sibling of an Active OFW pursuing or planning to pursue engineering technology and technical courses, take advantage of these educational grants!

📚 FEATURED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS:
1️⃣ EDSP (Education for Development Scholarship Program)

Financial Grant: Up to ₱60,000 / academic year

Target Applicants: Incoming 1st-Year College Students (Graduating Grade 12)

Qualifications: General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% with no failing grades; must pass the competitive qualifying exam.

2️⃣ ODSP (OFW Dependent Scholarship Program)

Financial Grant: ₱20,000 / academic year

Target Applicants: Dependents of active OFWs earning a monthly salary of not more than $600 USD.

Qualifications: Minimum GWA of 80% without failing marks.

3️⃣ CMWSP (Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program)

Financial Grant: Up to ₱60,000 / academic year

Target Applicants: Qualified dependents of OFWs enrolled in priority Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) degree programs.

Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen

Must be an incoming college freshman (or Grade 12 graduating student)

Not more than 21 years old

Must be a child of an Active OWWA Member (or sibling, if the OFW is unmarried)

Must not be a recipient of any other government scholarship grant

Please be guided by the official announcement from the City Government of Manila regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

: Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of all classes in all levels in public and private schools today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, due to observed flooding and heavy rainfall brought about by a thunderstorm carried by the southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, the Department of Science and Technology Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (DOST-PAGASA) raised an orange rainfall warning over the National Capital Region as of 8:00 A.M. today, which is expected to persist until 11:00 A.M.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.
