What if the pain you never chose was never meant to be carried alone?

In Hosea, God gave Hosea’s children names that represented Israel’s broken relationship with Him, “No Mercy” and “Not My People.”

Imagine carrying a name for something you never did.

Sometimes, we feel the same way. We carry pain we never chose, suffer because of someone else’s decisions, and eventually start believing that pain is who we are.

“Maybe I’m unwanted.”
“Maybe I’m abandoned.”
“Maybe something is wrong with me.”

And maybe that’s exactly why we need to remember Gideon.

Gideon also asked, in his own way, “Why me?” He saw his weakness and wondered how he could possibly face the battle God was giving him.

But God’s answer was simple.

“I will be with you.” (Judges 6:16)

Because sometimes, what God allows us to carry was never meant for us to carry alone.

And that the same God who promised restoration in Hosea and stood with Gideon in his weakness is the same God who can turn our seasons of brokenness into stories of His faithfulness.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” — Psalm 107:1

Cooking is more than preparing food—it’s an opportunity to serve, to love, and to be grateful. Every ingredient, every meal, and every person who sits at the table is a blessing from God.

As we cook everyday and share a meal, I pray that Jesus fills our home with love, peace, and joy. May the food we prepare nourish not only our bodies but also bring people together in kindness and fellowship.

Whatever we do, let’s do it with a grateful heart, knowing that even the simplest moments can become beautiful blessings when we put Jesus at the center.

Jesus, bless the hands that prepare this food, the hearts that share it, and everyone who gathers around the table. Amen.

‎Minsan talaga, may pagkakataon na pakiramdam natin ay hindi umaayon sa atin ang mundo. May mga plano na akala mo okay na pero hindi natutuloy, at may mga bagay na binibigay natin ang best effort natin pero pagdating sa dulo, bakit ganoon? Sobrang layo ng resulta sa inaasahan natin.

‎As humans, we feel sad, worried or even frustrated for a while and that's okay 🤍. Pero alam mo ba, sabi ni Lord sa Isaiah 60:22, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."

‎Galing diba? si Lord mismo ang gagawa ng paraan para mangyari ang bagay na 'yon sa atin. All we need to do is to believe and trust sa "right time" na sinabi ni God.

It will not be too soon nor too late, kaya what’s meant for you won’t just pass by, hindi ka napag-iiwanan kapatid because His timing is perfect, and His promises never fail. 🌱

To anyone carrying a heavy burden today: chill ka lang, the battle is not yours. 🤍

In Matthew 14, Jesus showed us the peace that comes with surrendering to God's plan. When God says "Be Still" (Psalm 46:10), He’s reminding you that He is fighting for you (2 Chronicles 20:15).

Release the pressure to control everything and let God take over! 🙏🏽✨

A simple reminder for anyone who needs it today 🍃

You are not walking into the unknown alone. God already holds tomorrow, and His plans for you are rooted in peace, hope, and purpose. Trust God and lean unto Him 🙏🏽

For all of young ones out there na patuloy na nagsisikap kahit walang nakakakita, ipagpatuloy niyo lang yan! 🫶🏻

​Nakikita ni Lord ang lahat ng tahimik mong tiyaga at panalangin. Chill ka lang and mag-focus sa pagbuo ng magandang foundation at lalabas din ang bunga ng lahat ng pinaghirapan mo sa tamang panahon.

In Matthew 4:35-41, we read about the disciples caught in a furious, terrifying storm at sea. While they panicked, Jesus was asleep. When they woke Him, fearful for their lives, He simply spoke to the elements: "Silence! Be still." Instantly, the wind died down and it was completely calm.

If you are in a season where the waves feel like they are crashing over your head, remember that the exact same Jesus is in the boat with you. The storm might be loud, but His voice is louder. Whatever you are facing today, take a deep breath and trust the One who commands the wind and the waves. 🙌
