ECSS - Student Council

Today, we proudly commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution — a historic moment when courage overcame fear and unity triumphed over oppression. Along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, millions of Filipinos stood shoulder to shoulder in peaceful defiance, proving to the world that true power lies in the hands of the people.

The revolution, which led to the end of the regime of Ferdinand Marcos and the restoration of democracy under Corazon Aquino, remains a powerful reminder that change is possible when a nation unites with faith, courage, and love for country. It was not just a political turning point—it was a testament to the strength of peaceful action and collective hope.

Forty years later, we honor the heroes—known and unknown—who stood bravely for freedom. May the spirit of EDSA continue to inspire us to protect our democracy, uphold truth, and remain vigilant in safeguarding the rights and dignity of every Filipino.

“Love so strong, not even Friday the 13th can scare it away.”

With deep gratitude, our school community was blessed to take part as one of the sponsor of the Holy Mass in celebration of the upcoming Feast of our patron saint, San Sebastian. United in prayer, we honor his legacy of faith and courage, asking for his intercession to guide and strengthen us in our journey of service and devotion.

With hearts full of faith and humility, our school community came together to honor the Feast of the Black Nazarene last January 9, 2026. Through prayer and reflection, we were reminded of Christ’s enduring love, sacrifice, and the strength found in trusting Him through every trial. May this celebration continue to deepen our devotion and guide us in faith, service, and compassion.
