Last September 9, our librarians, together with the UA deans and SHS academic chairs, visited the 𝑀𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑙𝑎 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝐹𝑎𝑖𝑟 to browse, evaluate, and select titles that would best serve the needs of our students.

Today, we remember with gratitude the 116th birth anniversary of our venerable founder, Most Rev. Archbishop Emilio A. Cinense, DD—our dear Apung Cinense.

We thank God for the gift of his life, his faith, and his mission, through which he planted the seeds of a dream: to make quality Catholic education accessible to the Kapampangan youth and to form generations of learners guided by faith, knowledge, and service.

As we honor his memory, may we continue to nurture that dream and carry forward the mission he entrusted to the Assumption community.

May his legacy continue to inspire us to learn, to serve, and to build a better future for our youth.

With hearts filled with joy and devotion, the University of the Assumption community celebrates today the Solemnity of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, our beloved Patroness.

On this special feast, we honor Mary, assumed body and soul into heavenly glory, and entrust to her maternal care the entire UA community—our students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and personnel. May Mary, our Mother and Patroness, continue to guide us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ, and inspire us to faithfully live out our mission of faith, excellence, and service.

As one Assumption community, may we follow Mary's example of humble obedience, unwavering faith, and loving service, always proclaiming with her: “He has done great things for me.” (Luke 1:49)
