On June 11, 2026, the Pinatubo at 35 Conference brought together researchers, educators, students, and community members for a day of learning and discussion on the legacy of the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption.

Through keynote and plenary presentations, panel discussions, and an open forum, participants shared insights and perspectives on resilience, memory, and transformation 35 years after one of the country's most significant natural events.

Plenary Session 5 is now ongoing, focusing on the geomorphological and societal impacts of the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption and lahar flows.

The panel of reactors is still ongoing, actively sharing insights and asking questions in response to the keynote address, as the discussion continues to unfold before the open forum.

The Cinense Library team, together with AVPAA Michaella Castillo, extends its sincere gratitude to the Center for Learning Resources (CLR) of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to us during our benchmarking visit yesterday, June 3, 2026.

It was an enriching experience that allowed us to learn from their innovative programs, services, and learning spaces. The insights and best practices shared during the visit will serve as valuable references as we continue to enhance our own library services and support our academic community. 💙
