Getting Closer to God

To know the Word of God genuinely is to assume the ethical responsibility of proclaiming it with epistemic humility—free from arrogance, manipulation, or self-exaltation—so that the integrity of the truth remains uncorrupted by the ego of the messenger.

1. Knowledge without humility becomes pride.Scripture consistently warns that spiritual knowledge must be grounded in love.
2.Truth must reflect God’s character. If God is holy and loving, then the way His Word is communicated must mirror those attributes.
3.Authenticity strengthens witness.
Teaching with sincerity builds credibility; teaching with arrogance weakens it.
4.Humility protects the message.
The messenger should never overshadow the message.
