The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is urging Filipino travelers and travel agencies to uphold truthful and responsible travel, as the misuse of tourist visas could lead to stricter visa requirements and increased immigration scrutiny for legitimate travelers.

“Every misuse of tourist visas have consequences not only for the individuals involved, but also for all our fellow Filipino travelers, which results in stricter visa requirements and increased immigration scrutiny,” PTAA said.

With designated travel agencies handling visa applications set to begin temporary suspensions, how can responsible travel and greater accountability help protect the opportunities of Filipinos to travel abroad?

An interactive learning session held at PUP Santa Rosa Campus earlier today, August 27, 2026.

Maraming salamat sa Laguna Water, to GM Constantin Uy and Ms. Lheizel De Jesus sa matagumpay na Daloy ng Saya Project. I am happy and proud to have recommended PUP Santa Rosa Campus as the venue and recipient of this meaningful learning session, especially to Dr. Leny V. Salmingo, Campus Director of
PUP Santa Rosa Campus, to the Faculty, Staff and Students of BS Education.

Today, we learned that protecting our water is everyone’s responsibility. Let us reduce wastage, practice proper sanitation, and safeguard every drop of clean water. Kapag nagsama-sama ang private sector, academe at government, mas malakas ang daloy ng kaalaman, serbisyo, at malasakit.
