Today is not my day..

I had a hard time cannulating one of our patient today. The patient knows that I am struggling but she was just still and cheering me that I can “catch her vein” true enough na catch ko nga.

When I came back to check on her vital signs she gave me a box of toasted siopao.

A small gesture with a big impact on my mentality. Patients who are patience and instead of dragging the nurses down, understands that we too have our hard days.
