Genesis 2:15
"The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it."
We often view “work” as a heavy burden—a never-ending routine to sustain our needs and a responsibility set upon us. But God actually designed it to be a blessing! Work isn't a punishment—God worked when He created the world, and He put us here to partner with Him in taking care of it. Doing our work with excellence transforms our everyday routine into a powerful act of worship. As Colossians 3:23 reminds us, do everything heartily for the Lord, because we don't worship our work—we worship God through our work!
“Ang likas na kasipagan ng mga Pilipino shows that work is deeply woven into our identity, despite our heavy history. Napakabuti ng Panginoon dahil ipinaalala Niya sa Genesis na bago pa man dumating ang babae, work was already given as man's very first calling—proving na ang work ay purpose at blessing, hindi parusa. Ultimately, God designed us to thrive through work in every aspect of our lives: physically (with rest), financially, mentally, and spiritually—allowing us to experience His goodness and offer our very best back to Him through every daily task.” - Ptr. Jeff

Ephesians 4:25-32 ESV
"Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
Through Paul, God reminds us that following Christ is not simply about knowing who Jesus is, but allowing Him to transform who we are. Since we now belong to Christ, we are called to leave behind our old ways and let the Holy Spirit renew our minds, soften our hearts, and reshape the way we speak, think, decide, and treat others. A growing faith is seen not in perfection, but in a life that increasingly reflects Christ through humility, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and love.
"Even though Ephesians was written by Paul, it is God who reminds us through the Holy Spirit of what we need to know and how we should live. For when we were dead in sin, we had no part in earning our salvation for it is entirely the finished work of Jesus and the grace of God. We cannot maintain or earn our salvation through our works, but true salvation produces evidence, which is a life that increasingly surrenders to God, obeys His will, and seeks His guidance rather than our own desires. Therefore, let us not live to earn God’s grace, but because we have received it, allowing His grace through the Holy Spirit to transform our lives into a reflection of Christ." - Pastor Jeff

John 1:43-46 (ESV)
"The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip.
The disciples remind us that knowing Jesus begins with coming to Him. Like Philip, who invited Nathanael to “come and see,” we are also called to draw near, listen, and know Jesus personally. He already knows us completely—our thoughts, struggles, and desires—even before we fully know Him.
"There will be moments when we may not understand why certain things are happening or where God is leading us. Yet, we are reminded that we never walk alone. Jesus knows us, guides us, and holds us securely. We may not see the whole path ahead, but we can trust the One who already knows where it leads." - Bro. Varn

Matthew 9:22
Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.
The story of the woman who had been suffering for twelve years reminds us that true and complete healing comes from Jesus alone. She had carried her pain for so long, but when she reached out to Jesus in faith, she experienced His healing power. In the same way, there may be wounds, burdens, or struggles that we have carried for a long time—things that no one else knows. Yet Jesus sees, knows, and is able to restore what is broken.
It is not enough to simply know about Jesus; we are called to know Him deeply and have a genuine relationship with Him. True healing is found not only in what Jesus can do for us, but ultimately in knowing Jesus Himself. No matter how long we have carried our pain, Jesus remains our source of true and complete healing. So, come to Jesus in faith, remain steadfast, and continue to trust Him. What seems impossible to us is never beyond His power.
“The woman showed endurance and faith when she reached out to Jesus, believing that He alone could heal her. Her healing was complete, restoring not only her physical condition, but also all aspects of her life that were affected by her illness. Her willingness to approach Jesus and trust Him demonstrates genuine faith. God may use different means to bring healing—sometimes through medicine and other times through ways beyond human intervention—but ultimately, true healing comes from God alone.”

Psalm 92:1–2 (ESV)
"It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,"
We often find it easy to praise God when life is going well—when prayers are answered, blessings are evident, and everything seems to fall into place. But Psalm 92 reminds us that worship is not meant to be a reaction to favorable circumstances; it is a daily response to the unchanging character of God. From the beginning of each day until its end, we are called to remember His steadfast love and faithfulness.
"Throughout Scripture, God has always desired more than outward religious practices. From the Sabbath in Genesis to the laws given through Moses, His purpose was to lead His people into a relationship with Him. Jesus later corrected the religious leaders because they had become focused on traditions while missing the heart of worship. The Scriptures are God-breathed and lead us to know Christ, recognize our need for Him, and respond with thanksgiving, praise, and obedience. God desires children whose worship flows from a genuine relationship with Him, not merely from routine or religious obligation." — Pastor Jeff
May our worship never depend on our circumstances but always overflow from the unchanging goodness, steadfast love, and faithfulness of God.

John 4:14 (NASB1995)
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
We all know what it feels like to be thirsty. We reach for a glass of water because we know our bodies need it. But have you ever stopped to ask, "What is my soul thirsty for?"
A genuine encounter with Christ doesn't just quench our spiritual thirst, it transforms us. Just as the Samaritan woman left the well changed and eager to tell others about Jesus, we are also called to live as people whose lives have been refreshed by His grace.
"The encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman reveals that God's love is not based on a person's status, knowledge, or past. While Nicodemus was educated and respected yet still needed Jesus, the Samaritan woman was an outcast, yet Jesus intentionally sought her out, demonstrating that God reveals His love and salvation to sinners through Christ. This is not merely a story but a true account of God's redemptive plan. Although salvation is not earned by keeping the Law or by good works, a genuine encounter with Jesus always results in transformation. True worship is only possible through the finished work of Christ, as His redemption and the repentance He brings change our lives. Like the Samaritan woman, those who experience His grace are healed morally, socially, and, most importantly, spiritually, leading them to joyfully share Him with others." - Pastor Jeff Asirot

Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”
God’s goodness is not measured by comfort, success, or the fulfillment of our own desires. Through every circumstance, whether joyful or painful, God is actively and sovereignly at work for the good of His people. Nothing in our life is meaningless, for every moment is being woven into His perfect purpose. The good that God promises is ultimately greater than what we often define as good—it is our transformation into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, for us who truly love God, we can trust that His plans are always good, even when they are difficult to understand. His work in our lives is not merely to give us what we want, but to deepen our faith, refine our character, and draw us closer to Christ. In every season, we can rest in the assurance that God is not finished yet, and that His purpose will always lead to a greater good that brings glory to His name.
“Romans 8 reminds us that although believers are no longer condemned and are led by the Spirit, they are not exempt from suffering. We often define "good" as circumstances that are favorable or within our control, but God is working in all things according to His greater purpose, even when we cannot understand what He is doing. Also, Romans 8:38–39 assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. This truth becomes our firm foundation, enabling us to walk by faith and not by sight.

Daniel 3:16-17 (ESV)
"Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king"
Faith is revealed not when circumstances are easy, but when obedience to God comes with a cost. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood before a king who demanded compromise, yet they remained unwavering because they knew that their allegiance belonged to God alone. Their confidence was not rooted in the certainty of being rescued, but in the certainty of God's power and faithfulness. They believed that God was able to deliver them, yet they were also willing to remain faithful even if His plan looked different from their expectations.
"God's Word is true, and when He calls us, we have no excuse but to trust Him completely. True faith says, "Even if He does not, God is still good." We believe that God is able to deliver us, yet our confidence rests not in the outcome, but in His unchanging character.
This is the true declaration of faith—to trust God not because we know what He will do, but because we know who He is. We will all face our own Goliaths, but in every battle, we can confidently declare that our God is alive, He is at work, and He is greater than anything we will ever face." - Pastor Jeff Asirot

Romans 8:38-39
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The love of God is not earned by our efforts nor sustained by our performance, but is fully secured in Christ alone. Paul assures believers that no power, circumstance, or created thing can undo what God has already accomplished through His grace. Those who have been justified by faith, freed from condemnation, given the right to be God's children, and held by His Spirit can rest in the unshakable confidence that nothing can separate them from His love.
Thus, it makes us live with confidence instead of fear, joy instead of insecurity, and steadfast hope because our identity and security are forever found in the unfailing love of Christ.
"True and complete love is found only in Christ. Before we ever sought God, He first loved us. His love was never based on our worthiness but on His initiative, mercy, and grace. Romans 8 reminds us that God's love is not merely spoken, it is demonstrated through what He has done for us in Christ. Because of Him, we are no longer condemned, we are justified by faith, adopted into God's family, empowered by the Holy Spirit, assured that God works all things for our good, and confident that nothing in all creation can separate us from His love. Knowing this love gives us confidence, joy, and the freedom to live according to God's purpose for our lives."

Matthew 18:3–5
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven…”
True greatness in the Kingdom of God is not measured by status, strength, or recognition, but by a heart that is shaped like a child—humble, trusting, and obedient. Jesus reminds His disciples that those who are considered “great” in God’s eyes are not the powerful or the famous, but those who willingly lower themselves in humility, fully depend on Him, and sincerely obey His will. Like a child who has no claim to authority yet completely trusts their guardian, a believer is called to rely on God with pure and sincere faith, without pride or self-exaltation.
This truth leads us to understand that kingdom living is a daily posture of surrender—choosing humility over pride, dependence over self-sufficiency, and obedience over personal will.
Jesus answers His disciples’ question about who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven by correcting their earthly view of rank, power, and recognition. While they expected status, authority, and honor to define greatness, Jesus teaches that true greatness is marked by humility and childlike dependence on God. In today’s terms, it is not about influence, popularity, or visible achievements, but about a heart that is fully reliant on God and faithful even in unseen work. Like a child who is dependent, without authority or need for recognition, the greatest in God’s kingdom are those who serve with pure hearts, humility, and trust in Him rather than seeking human applause.
