Alam Mo Ba?
โ Chairman โ Chairperson
โ Manpower โ Human Resources o Workforce
โ Spokesman โ Spokesperson

Overtime means extra work, but it should also mean extra pay.
Working beyond the regular 8-hour workday? For covered employees, overtime work on an ordinary working day is generally compensated with an additional 25% of the regular hourly rate. That means the extra hours you put in should not simply be treated as part of your normal work.
Whether youโre staying late to finish a deadline, handling additional tasks, or working beyond your scheduled hours, itโs important to know how overtime pay works and what you may be entitled to under labor standards.
Your time has value. Your work has value. And your extra hours should be properly compensated.
Donโt be afraid to ask questions, check your payslip, and understand your employment rights. Knowing your rights can help you make sure youโre being paid fairly for the work you do.
Know your hours.
Know your pay.
Know your rights.
Because working extra should mean getting what youโre rightfully owed. Stay informed. Speak up. Know your rights.

Ever wondered what happens when your 6-month probationary period ends but your employer wants to give you more time to prove yourself? Can a probationary employment period be extended beyond six months if both the employer and employee voluntarily agree? What did the Court decide?
Understanding Your Probationary Period
The general rule is that a probationary period is 6 months. But in certain circumstances, an employee may agree to a reasonable extension. At the same time, employers cannot abuse probationary employment by repeatedly extending it just to prevent an employee from becoming regular.
If you're a probationary employee, know what you're signing. If your employer asks you to extend your probation, understand: Why is it being extended? What standards do you need to meet? How long will the extension last? What happens after the extension?
On the other hand, Employers should clearly communicate the standards expected from probationary employees and handle extensions fairly. Probation should be used to evaluate an employee, not to keep workers in an uncertain employment status indefinitely.
Mariwasa v. Leogardo teaches us that probationary employment is meant to give employers a reasonable opportunity to evaluate workers and workers a chance to prove themselves.
But both sides have rights and responsibilities.
๐Know your rights. Know what you sign. Know your employment status.

From "๐ถ๐น๐น ๐๐ ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐" to "๐ฌ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ญ," the journey of the Filipino online shopper has become a risky game of chance.
With millions of Filipinos now navigating digital marketplaces, the reality of receiving wrong items or falling victim to sophisticated scams has become alarmingly common. As our e-commerce population grows, so does the need for real accountability.
Protecting yourself starts with knowing this essential law:
RA 11967 (Internet Transactions Act of 2023) โ This specifically mandates that online platforms and merchants treat Filipino consumers fairly, providing a clear safety net for digital purchases.
Imagine this: Umorder ka ng brand-new smartphone.
Under RA 11967 (Internet Transactions Act of 2023), you are no longer just dependent on the seller's "goodwill." This law specifically gives the DTI the power to issue takedown orders against fraudulent websites and makes platforms subsidiarily liable if they failed to verify the seller or ignore your valid complaint.
Safe shopping isn't just about luckโit's about knowing and exercising your legal rights.

Magsalita. Makialam. Protektahan ang bawat estudyante.

WORLD PET MEMORIAL DAY | June 9, 2026
Some paw prints never fade.
Today, we remember the pets who filled our lives with loyalty, comfort, and unconditional love. To the pets who crossed the rainbow bridgeโthank you for every tail wag, every comforting presence, and every unconditional act of love. You may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
As we honor their memory, may we also continue to show compassion to the animals still in our care. The Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485, as amended by RA 10631) protects animals from cruelty, neglect, and abuse, while promoting their proper care and welfare.
By being responsible pet owners and treating animals with kindness and respect, we help build a society that values and protects every life entrusted to us.
