Hope for Strays

🚨 URGENT: WE NEED YOUR HELP TO KEEP FEEDING CEBU’S STRAYS 🐾💔

Our original IG page was hacked and lost, along with years of work and supporters.
Starting over with a new account means our reach is low—and our food supplies are almost gone. 😢
The strays rely on our daily rounds, and we cannot feed them without you.

Since this is a new page, sharing this post helps us reach more kind hearts and rebuild our community. Thank you for helping us keep these stray dogs and cats fed! 🙏🏻

We may have lost our previous account but the mission and advocacy continues. 🐾

During this rainy season, more and more strays are in need of food and shelter.

WE LOST OUR ACCOUNT, BUT NOT OUR MISSION. 🐾

Losing years of memories, rescue stories, and our community hurts—but the hardest part is knowing our strays depend on the support we raise here.
Right now, rescue operations and daily feedings are paused until we rebuild.

🙏 How you can help right now:
1️⃣ Repost & Tag: Help our old followers find their way back to us.
2️⃣ Tech/Recovery Help: DM us if you have experience retrieving or tracing hacked Meta accounts.

Together, we can get back on track for the fur babies! ❤️✨

💔 URGENT NOTICE: OUR ORIGINAL INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED

It breaks our hearts to write this, but Hope for Strays Cebu has officially lost access to our original Instagram page. To that hacker, I hope you will witness the UNBEARABLE guilt— our stray feeding program & rescue missions are now stopped. We still have pending vet bills to pay for our rescues. 💔

Since 2020, our page was not just an account—it was a archive of years of love, rescue operations, daily feeding runs, and a community of incredible supporters who made everything possible. To lose all our followers, memories, and records in an instant is truly devastating.
🐾 How This Affects Our Strays
Because we operate strictly as a non-profit organization, 100% of our rescue operations and daily stray feeding rely on the generosity and donations of our online community.
Without our main platform:
❌ Daily feeding operations are temporarily impacted.
❌ New rescue operations are currently on hold until we can secure support and stabilize our operations through this new page.

🙏🏻 HOW YOU CAN HELP US TODAY
1. SPREAD THE WORD & SHARE: Please share this post, tag your friends, and repost to your stories so our old community can find us again!
2. CYBER / TECH VOLUNTEER HELP: The hacker changed the login credentials, so our associated email and phone number cannot be retrieved through standard recovery.
📍If anyone with technical expertise or experience with Meta account recovery/tracing can help us recover or report the compromised account, please send us a DM directly on this new page.
Our commitment to giving love and a voice to the stray animals of Cebu has not changed, but right now, we need our community more than ever.
Thank you for standing by us and the fur babies during this difficult time. 🐾🙏🏻
