What does climate implementation actually mean?
For Wajiha Iftikhar, PCF Policy & Research Coordinator – KP and Climate Action Fellowship Fellow, implementation means moving from commitments to tangible action that communities can see and feel.
At Climate Week 4 – Implementation Forum in Baku, voices from across the Marrakech Partnership reflected on what it takes to turn climate commitments into meaningful progress.

Youth Voices from Baku | Climate Week 4 – Implementation Forum
Proud to see Wajiha Iftikhar, PCF Policy & Research Coordinator – KP and PCF Climate Action Fellowship Fellow, representing youth perspectives at UNFCCC Climate Week 4 – Implementation Forum in Baku 🇦🇿.
Wajiha contributed to discussions on agriculture and food systems, climate finance, gender gaps, youth engagement, AI and technology, misinformation, and a just transition.
Her message was clear: climate action must move beyond commitments and reach the communities, farmers, women, workers, and young people who are at the heart of implementation.
From commitments to action. From policy to people.
