2027 ISN’T ONE COLOR.
IT’S A MOOD SHIFT.
We’ve been looking across the latest 2027 forecasts from WGSN + Coloro, NCS Colour, paint brands, interior publications and designers.
And the most interesting story isn’t a single “Color of the Year.”
It’s the move toward color with more depth, emotion and personality.
🌿 NEW EARTH
Clay • Russet • Terracotta • Warm Brown
🌱 GREEN AS A NEW NEUTRAL
Moss • Olive • Botanical • Deep Green
🌾 YELLOW GROWS UP
Maize • Ochre • Golden • Weathered Yellow
💜 SOFT COLOR GETS COMPLEX
Lilac • Mauve • Dusty Pink • Periwinkle
🍷 BRING ON THE DRAMA
W**e • Burgundy • Oxblood • Blackberry
⚡ THE WILD CARD
Luminous Blue • Energy Orange • Pop Pink
And then there’s something we find even more important:
COLOR IS RELATIONAL.
NCS Colour’s Colours Beyond 2027+ reinforces this beautifully—looking beyond individual hero colors toward broader color areas, atmosphere and the relationships between colors.
A color changes with the light.
With the material.
With the texture.
With the color beside it.
And with how much of it we use.
So maybe the real 2027 trend isn’t a color at all.
It’s complexity.
We’re moving from:
Safe → Expressive
Flat → Nuanced
Matching → Relationships
Decoration → Atmosphere
And that’s where we think the future of color gets really interesting.
“One color doesn’t define a year.
The conversation between colors does.”

Aprender, partilhar e inspirar fazem parte do caminho… 🎨
O teu espaço conta a tua história? 🤩
