🚀 AI is transforming the world — but the real challenge is making sure people aren’t left behind.
In a recent interview with FAKTI, Professor Marco Romano explores the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, XR, and human-computer interaction — and why innovation must continue to keep human values at its core.
From preparing the next generation of professionals to navigating the ethical and legal challenges of AI, one message stands out: continuous learning is essential in a world where technology never stops evolving.

After months of preparation, the first edition of the VIC Summer School in Immersive Technologies & Artificial Intelligence has successfully come to an end.
Over five days, we brought together students, researchers, educators and industry professionals from across Europe to explore the latest developments in Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence through keynote sessions, expert talks, hands-on workshops, collaborative projects and international networking.
One of the aspects I am most proud of is that we truly achieved one of the main ambitions of the VIC Project: bringing academia and industry together to learn from one another, collaborate and inspire future innovation.
A heartfelt thank you to all our speakers, partners, colleagues and participants for their enthusiasm, expertise and commitment.
