Diana Galan (b. 2002, Romania) is a Barcelona-based designer working across image, object, and narrative. A graduate of EINA University, her practice builds visual worlds where art direction, photography, and cinema intersect. Influenced by vintage film, fashion, nature, and the human body, she revisits and reshapes historical visual languages through a contemporary lens. Following collaborations with Camper and an internship at AGOSTO Studio, she turned to jewellery in 2025, using material and form to explore memory and transformation.

"Un Recuerdo de Ti Volume I explores how memory persists through physical transformation. Developed through lost wax casting, most pieces are directly carved in wax, preserving gestures that cannot be repeated, while Molár is digitally sculpted. Forms such as teeth, impact traces, and molten matter embody what remains and what is irreversibly altered over time. Growing up between places, I became aware of identity as something fragmented yet enduring. This collection reflects that tension between erosion and permanence, and the need to leave a trace of existence.”

Memento Vivere Collection
I initially intended to name this collection Memento Mori. However, as I sketched, I realized I was not seeking to evoke the shadow of the end, but something far more challenging, the clarity of being truly present. Memento Vivere is a deliberate inversion of a Baroque formula. Where Memento Mori asks the viewer to remember death, this collection asks its wearer to remember the act of being awake. The collection takes as its conceptual anchor the patristic notion of nepsis—the watchful attention described in the Eastern ascetic tradition as a sustained, alert state of mind, distinct from both tension and repose. Nepsis is not contemplation, it is closer to the posture of a sentry, or of a hunter at the threshold of action—the mind held in a state of active clarity. The collection translates this interior posture through sober lines and sharp edges.

In focus today - Vacide Erda Zimic - Peru

Vacide Erda Zimic is a contemporary jewelry and ceramic artist based in Lima. With an international trajectory across galleries, museums, biennials, and design fairs, her practice combines material research with conceptual depth. Working with metal, textiles, and ceramic, she explores the body as a site of transformation, addressing cycles of health and illness, death anxiety, and regeneration. Her pieces translate fear, obsession, and humor into formal strategies that question vulnerability and material presence.

“Geometric Fragments” is a collection inspired by visual structures found in Peruvian material culture, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Rather than direct references, the work translates patterns, rhythms, and symbolic geometries into wearable forms. Using metal and textile elements, each piece functions as a fragment of a larger system, where repetition and variation generate meaning. The collection explores how identity can be constructed through abstraction, fragmentation, and the reconfiguration of inherited visual languages.

In focus today - Juan Yin - Formed Between (Uk/China)

Juan Yin is the designer and founder of Formed Between, a contemporary jewellery practice rooted in the craftsmanship of Miao silversmiths. While studying and working in the UK, she visited Miao communities in China and met silversmiths whose craft had been passed down through generations. These encounters became the starting point for Formed Between. Each piece is handcrafted in high-purity 990 silver by Miao silversmiths using traditional techniques. Designed to be worn every day, the jewellery brings traditional craftsmanship into contemporary life.

This collection draws from structural principles found in Chinese decorative traditions, organised through repetition, symmetry and enclosure. Repeated units are brought together to create defined forms, where proportion and density establish balance through relation. Created as contemporary jewellery, the work brings traditional craft knowledge into everyday life.

In focus today - Andrew Thornton - part of Plus One Collective curated by Jennifer Wells

Andrew Thornton is a professional fine artist, trained at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is a mixed-media artist who works in painting, collage, metalsmithing, and jewelry. His work explores identity through magical realism and fantasy. Andrew is the Co-Owner and Creative Director of Allegory Gallery in Johnstown, PA. Allegory Gallery was one of SCORE’s 2018 American Small Business Championship winners. When he's not creating art, making jewelry, or writing, he is working on Star Cottage Studio. Star Cottage Studio is a working studio in a 100 year old former school house. Andrew was elected to the Board of Directors for Touchstone Center for Crafts and was recently awarded one of the Artist-in- Residence positions at Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA. Andrew’s first curatorial project, “No Place Like Home” debuted at the Metal Museum in Memphis, TN in May 2024. He and his husband, William, live in their happy home with five cats, artwork covering every wall, and lots and lots of books and beads!

Beneath the forest floor, a quiet network thrives. Through their roots, trees interconnect and communicate, sharing nourishment, offering support, and holding each other across time. This hidden web of care is what keeps the forest alive. EarthBound draws from that unseen strength. The steady bonds that anchor, protect, and endure. Inspired by deep roots and the layered textures of bark, its forms trace the story of belonging and memory held in place.

The name Everbranch draws from the branching patterns that shape our world, tree limbs, reindeer antlers, river paths, coral, mountain ridges, and the inner pathways of being. Represents a vitality of life: a continual unfolding, growing, and transformation. This collection is rooted in the heritage of the Ewenki people, shaped by their bond with the forest, the reindeer, and to the bonds between generations. It holds a spirit of resilience and a belief in renewal, a hope that continues to grow, season after season, life after life. Ever reaching, ever becoming.

For hundreds of years, Kurotani Washi paper has graced Japanese interiors with both artistic and practical elements. Made from the cellulose of mulberry bushes, it has a refined tactility, a natural beauty and an unexpected durability. Capturing both the shape and spirit of time-formed remains, FOSSIL jewelry is a special collaboration with Hatano Wataru, featuring his Kurotani Washi paper. Discovered within an imagined earthen tapestry, FOSSIL jewelry pieces merge the realms of art piece and artifact. From the making of the paper in Japan to the design and construction in Austria, this unique fusion balances human skill with the strength and beauty of nature. Our uncompromising approach to sustainability means we produce a limited series of truly distinctive pieces from an entirely analog, no-waste process, exclusively using hand working methods and the highest quality natural materials.

“Bloom in Motion” explores soft sculptural forms through movement, repetition and color. The collection combines layered satin floral elements with suspended linear details, creating wearable compositions that shift with the body and light. Shades of turquoise and blue evoke the deep blue skies and luminous coastal landscapes of Greece. The pieces convey a sense of fluidity and transformation, where satin fabric becomes a hymn to the eternal movement of nature, following the rhythm and grace of the female body -in a continuous dialogue between motion, texture and silhouettes.
