TollRO starts on 1 October. Here’s what carriers need to know.

For trucks over 3.5 tonnes, the Romanian road charging system moves to a distance-based model. The amount depends on the kilometres driven, vehicle weight and EURO emission class.

There are different ways to pay:

Route ticket – bought before the trip for one predefined route and time window. It is mainly intended for occasional users or those who do not use an OBE or the dedicated mobile app.

TollRO mobile app / official portal – for route registration, payments and account management. The official portal also provides current toll information and payment options.

For transport companies, the practical part is simple: know the toll cost before you quote the load.

TollRO from 1 October? Still uncertain.

CNAIR has asked for the implementation to be postponed until 1 April 2027, while the current legal date remains 1 October for now. A final change still needs to be adopted through the legislative process.

For transport companies, the key issue is not only when TollRO starts, but being able to calculate the impact before quoting a load.

Road tolls can change the economics of a route quickly — especially on international or transit operations through Romania.

Whatever the final date, planning should come before pricing.

CNAIR has officially asked the Government and the Ministry of Transport to postpone the implementation of TollRO.

For now, this is only a request — the final decision has not been made yet.

Pentru camioanele de peste 3,5 t, TollRO înlocuiește rovinieta, iar plata nu se mai face pe perioadă, ci pe rută.

La început, plata va fi făcută manual, în două variante:
✅ bilet de traseu, cumpărat înainte de plecare
✅ aplicația oficială CNAIR eTarife, pentru vehiculele înmatriculate în România

Plata automată europeană prin SETRE este programată pentru 15 ianuarie 2027.

Dacă ai rovinietă valabilă după 1 octombrie, perioada rămasă nu se rambursează automat — trebuie făcută o cerere către CNAIR.

Ce nu trebuie să rămână manual este calculul costului.

Rapid sau Economic?

Aceeași cursă. Două variante diferite.

Pe București – Frankfurt, ruta Economic are mai mulți kilometri și durează puțin mai mult, dar taxele de drum sunt mai mici.

Olanda reduce taxa de drum pentru camioane. 🇳🇱

Din 1 septembrie 2026, taxa de drum din Olanda este redusă temporar cu 22,3%, până la 31 decembrie 2026.

Pe scurt:

✅ tariful mediu scade de la €0.191/km la €0.148/km
✅ pentru Euro 6, peste 32t: de la €0.201/km la €0.156/km

Un comentariu ne-a aratat o problema.
Noi am verificat si am corectat-o. ✅

George ne-a semnalat ca una dintre rutele calculate pentru camion trecea prin zona Curtea de Arges – Tigveni, unde exista restrictie de tonaj pentru camioanele grele.

Am verificat situatia, am confirmat problema si am refacut algoritmul de rutare pentru acest caz.

Acum, ruta este calculata corect, pe Dealul Negru.

Pentru noi, asta inseamna feedback valoros:
nu doar il citim, ci il folosim ca sa imbunatatim platforma.
