Bearing witness means standing for them when they cannot stand for themselves. It means refusing to look away from the normalized violence.

Scotland has officially banned glue traps, making it a criminal offence to use them. Those caught using these cruel devices can now face fines of up to £40,000 or imprisonment.
Glue traps are among the most inhumane forms of pest control. Animals caught on them can remain trapped for hours or even days, suffering from dehydration, exhaustion, broken bones and severe injuries as they struggle to escape. Many die slowly, while others are killed after being found.
