: A project to provide humanitarian support to communities affected by the crisis in Sudan

As part of the project to distribute women's dignity kits and provide humanitarian support to women and girls and communities affected by the crisis in Sudan, the Raising Awareness for Social Development Organization (RASDO), with funding from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF), in partnership with Mercy Corps and in coordination with the Sudanese Relief and Humanitarian Operations Agency (SARHO), is implementing community awareness activities in the Five Minutes Camps shelter center.

These activities aim to raise awareness among targeted families and verify their data to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those who need it, in accordance with the principles of transparency and fairness. This contributes to strengthening the humanitarian response and meeting the basic needs of communities affected by the crisis.

These efforts are part of an ongoing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups and enhancing the dignity of those affected through an effective humanitarian response.

: Humanitarian Support Project for Crisis-Affected Communities in Sudan

As part of the project to distribute women's dignity kits and provide humanitarian support to women, girls, people with disabilities, and communities affected by the crisis in Sudan, the Raising Awareness for Social Development Organization (RASDO), with funding from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF), in partnership with Mercy Corps and in coordination with the Sudanese Relief and Humanitarian Operations Agency (SARHO), implemented activities on July 22, 2026. These activities included the distribution of personal hygiene kits and awareness sessions on reproductive health for women and girls aged 15-45 at the Zalingei Hospital Nutrition Center, benefiting 50 women and girls in the wards. These women and girls often lack even the most basic personal hygiene items and reproductive health awareness.

These activities aim to assist targeted families facing difficult economic circumstances and to verify their data to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those who need it, in accordance with the principles of transparency and fairness. This contributes to strengthening the humanitarian response and meeting the basic needs of affected communities. In response to the crisis.

These efforts are part of an ongoing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable and upholding the dignity of those affected through an effective humanitarian response.

في إطار مشروع توزيع حقائب الكرامة النسوية و تقديم الدعم الإنساني لنساء والفتيات وذوي الإعاقة وللمجتمعات المتضررة من الأزمة في السودان تعمل منظمة رفع الوعي للتنمية الإجتماعية (RASDO ) بتمويل من صندوق السودان الإنساني (SHF ) بالشراكة مع منظمة ميرسي كروب (Mercy Crops) وبالتنسيق مع الوكالة السودانية للاغاثة والعمليات الإنسانية
(SARHO)، تنفيذ أنشطةبتاريخ 22/7/2026 توزيع معدات نظافة شخصية وجلسات توعوية عن الصحة الانجابية لنساء والفتيات من عمر 15_45 بمستشفى زالنجي مركز التغذية لعدد 50 مستفيدة من النساء والفتيات داخل العنابر
حيث يعاني النساء والفتيات من ابسط معدات النظافة الشخصية والتوعية بالصحة الانجابية
تهدف هذه الأنشطة إلى لمساعدة الأسر المستهدفة من الوضع الاقتصادي الصعب والتحقق من بياناتها لضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المستحقين وفق مبادئ الشفافية والعدالة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الاستجابة الإنسانية وتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية للمجتمعات المتأثرة بالأزمة.

تأتي هذه الجهود ضمن الالتزام المستمر بدعم الفئات الأكثر هشاشة وتعزيز كرامة المتضررين من خلال استجابة إنسانية فعّالة

As part of the "Providing Humanitarian Support to Crisis-Affected Communities in Sudan" project,

Raising Awareness for Social Development Organization (RASDO),
with funding from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF),
in partnership with Mercy Corps,
and in coordination with the Sudanese Relief and Humanitarian Operations Agency (SARHO),

on July 20, 2025, distributed women's dignity kits and personal hygiene kits, along with awareness sessions on reproductive health.

📍 Location: Five Minutes Camp - Hajar Internal Shelter Center

🎯 Beneficiaries: 100 women and girls aged 15-45, including people with disabilities.

These activities aim to:
1. Alleviate the economic burden on targeted families
2. Ensure aid reaches those in need according to the principles of transparency and fairness
3. Promote health awareness among women and girls
4. Preserve the dignity of the most vulnerable groups

في إطار مشروع توزيع حقائب الكرامة النسوية و تقديم الدعم الإنساني لنساء والفتيات وذوي الإعاقة وللمجتمعات المتضررة من الأزمة في السودان تعمل منظمة رفع الوعي للتنمية الإجتماعية (RASDO ) بتمويل من صندوق السودان الإنساني (SHF ) بالشراكة مع منظمة ميرسي كروب (Mercy Crops) وبالتنسيق مع الوكالة السودانية للاغاثة والعمليات الإنسانية (SARHO)، بتاريخ 20/7/202 تنفيذ أنشطة توزيع معدات نظافة شخصية وجلسات توعوية عن الصحة الانجابية لنساء والفتيات من عمر 15_45 بعسكر خمسة دقائق مركز إيواء داخلية حجار لعدد 100 مستفيدة من المشروع
تهدف هذه الأنشطة إلى لمساعدة الأسر المستهدفة من الوضع الاقتصادي الصعب والتحقق من بياناتها لضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المستحقين وفق مبادئ الشفافية والعدالة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الاستجابة الإنسانية وتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية للمجتمعات المتأثرة بالأزمة.

| Humanitarian Support Project for Crisis-Affected Communities in Sudan

Within the framework of the Dignity Kits Distribution Project and the provision of humanitarian support to women, girls, and crisis-affected communities in Sudan, RASDO - Raise Awareness for Social Development Organization is implementing registration activities.

Funded by Sudan Humanitarian Fund `SHF`
In partnership with Mercy Corps
In coordination with Sudan Agency for Relief and Humanitarian Operations `SARHO`

RASDO is currently conducting registration and verification activities in Khamsa Dagayeg Camp and Hajar Internal Secondary School Shelter in Zalingei, Central Darfur State.

Objectives of the Activit
1. Register targeted households of women, girls, and persons with disabilities
2. Verify beneficiary data to ensure humanitarian assistance reaches those most in need
3. Uphold principles of transparency and accountability in humanitarian response
4. Address the basic needs of crisis-affected communities

These efforts are part of our ongoing commitment to support the most vulnerable groups and uphold the dignity of those affected through an effective and inclusive humanitarian response.

🌍 World Hepatitis Day | July 28

This day aims to raise awareness about hepatitis and encourage prevention, early detection, and treatment.

🦠 Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver caused by viruses A, B, C, D, and E. Hepatitis B and C are among the most common types that can lead to cirrhosis or liver cancer if not diagnosed and treated early.

⚠️ Symptoms: There may be no symptoms initially. When symptoms do appear, they include fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice), dark urine, and pain in the upper right abdomen.

🛡️ Prevention: Vaccination, use of sterile instruments and needles, ensuring the safety of blood transfusions, and getting tested if you have risk factors.

🌍 اليوم العالمي لالتهاب الكبد الوبائي | 28 يوليو

يهدف هذا اليوم إلى رفع الوعي بمرض التهاب الكبد الوبائي، وتشجيع الوقاية والكشف المبكر والعلاج.

🦠 التهاب الكبد الوبائي هو التهاب يصيب الكبد، وتسببه فيروسات A وB وC وD وE، ويُعد التهابا الكبد B وC من أكثر الأنواع التي قد تؤدي إلى تليف أو سرطان الكبد إذا لم تُشخَّص وتُعالج مبكراً.

⚠️ الأعراض: قد لا تظهر أي أعراض في البداية، وعند ظهورها تشمل التعب، فقدان الشهية، الغثيان، اصفرار الجلد والعينين (اليرقان)، بولاً داكناً، وألماً في الجزء العلوي الأيمن من البطن.

🛡️ الوقاية: التطعيم، استخدام أدوات وإبر معقمة، ضمان سلامة نقل الدم، وإجراء الفحص عند وجود عوامل خطورة.
