Hi everyone, meet with me again! ๐Ÿ‘‹

My name is Kristina Jamil, and I'm about to start my second year at Georgetown University, where I study International Politics.

This summer โ˜€๏ธ, I'm interning at the Jahjaga Foundation in Kosovo, thanks to the generous Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service Summer Award from Georgetown University. The Foundation was founded by Kosovo's first female president, Atifete Jahjaga, and continues to be led by her today. โค๏ธ

I'm specifically interning at the Women, Peace and Security Institute, where my work ranges from developing a new index to conducting research on women, peace, and security. โ™€๏ธ

I hope you enjoy following along on a day in my life in Kosovo!

- Kristina

Winner of our Adult Learners Scholarship 2026, he's off to UCL in London for an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience: Neuromuscular Disease.

First in his family to go to university, he studied Medicine in Taiwan and once sang in a choir that performed for hospital patients, an experience that shaped why he's drawn to neurology now.

Sisil grew up in Bangladesh watching people around her struggle to access basic financial knowledge.

Instead of just studying economics and finance abroad... she did something about it: teaching budgeting to younger girls in her community in high school, then doing the same for female garment workers during her internship in Bangladesh.

She's now the winner of our 2026 Social Science Excellence Scholarship. ๐Ÿ†

We couldn't be more proud to support what she's building. Full story at the link in bio.

Most people know Switzerland for the Alps and the chocolate. Fewer people know it has four official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh, spoken in different regions across the country.

For international students, this is actually a huge advantage. You get to choose the linguistic environment that fits you, and English works almost everywhere.

Swipe to see what each language region looks like and what it means for your studies. ๐Ÿ‘†
