Silent Socks

Things you might not know about Silent Socks® 🪑

We believe a good-looking room should sound good too. So, we’ve spent a lot of time testing our products.

When Silent Socks® was tested in an acoustic lab test, the noise level was reduced with up to 18 dB compared to the chair’s original furniture glide. A 10 dB drop is usually perceived as a 50 % noise reduction - so this is a big difference.

In durability testing, Silent Socks® were dragged back and forth under a 50 kg load for 40,000 cycles, about 32 km and still weren’t worn through when the test was stopped.

When we developed Silent Socks® in 2010, the goal was to reduce noise from scraping chairs. Today, our customers buy it for protecting their floors as much as for noise reduction.

Silent Socks HD comes in a beautiful marbled knitting. It has a little different texture and benefits compared to our Silent Socks Original that is made of wool. HD is made to work on tougher floors with tiles or wooden floors with structure. We are here to help, let us know if you have any questions regarding Silent Socks.
