VGT attends a high-level multi-stakeholder engagement led by the Sierra Leone Ministry of Communication Technology and Innovation, in collaboration with Sierra Leone Flying Labs and implementing partner World Bank.

This engagement marked a critical step toward establishing a structured, risk-based, and innovation-driven national drone policy framework for Sierra Leone.

Key discussions focused on:
✅Ecosystem mapping and strengthening institutional coordination.

✅Identification and prioritization of high-impact drone use cases.

✅Regulatory reform requirements, including pathways for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations.

✅Data governance, management systems, and security safeguards.
