With decades of experience in mine surveying, Ali leads innovative solutions across mining, infrastructure, resource evaluation, and advanced aerial mapping projects.

Trained at the prestigious Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter (UK), he combines technical expertise with a practical, results-driven approach to deliver accurate and reliable spatial data for informed decision-making.

In this photo, Ali is setting up one of our advanced drone surveying systems for aerial data acquisition - showcasing how cutting-edge technology is transforming the way we map, monitor, and manage mining and infrastructure projects.

This engagement marked a critical step toward establishing a structured, risk-based, and innovation-driven national drone policy framework for Sierra Leone.

Key discussions focused on:

✅Identification and prioritization of high-impact drone use cases.

✅Regulatory reform requirements, including pathways for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations.

✅Data governance, management systems, and security safeguards.
