TEXT📖: "Luke 12:54-59"
SERMON: "Discerning Your Season, Don't Abort the Process"
BY OUR GUEST: Rev. Steve S. Kanu

The struggle of John the Baptist started when he was never born.
Even to give him a name was a battle.
When he was grown up we learnt that he had to go to the wilderness to meet John the Baptist.
And one day the Master came & he recognised the Master. John the Baptist was able to discern Jesus.

📍There are people that come to your life, God has brought them for your season to shine.

The devil's agenda is for you not to experience your season. Many a time when your season is about to come many of you left.
Eccle 3:1-8 helps us to understand that there are seasons.
When your season comes you don't announce your impact, people announce you.
🧷 You don't pray for you to be seen, it comes naturally. God works in seasons.
Wisdom is not just knowing what to do but when to do it.

🔗 When your season comes you'll understand, you need not exhaust yourself.

📎 The worst that can happen to you is to miss your season.
* Focus on yourself expressively so that you can't miss your season when it comes.

TWO THINGS TO DETERMINE YOUR SEASON
(1) EVERY SEASON IS APPOINTED BY GOD.
it's not by your effort or strength. Life is not random. Every season is appointed God for a purpose.
God's appointed season can never be interrupt not even by your enemies. God's season can never be starved.

📌 Discerning Your Season begins with trusting God's sovereignty. Anything God wants to happen will happen.

🖇️ A difficult season is not a failed life.
God is as present in winter just as He is in snow.
Stop fighting your season!!!! Ask God what are you forming in me right now?

✏️ A farmer who plants during the dry will suffer be frustrated during the rains.

TEXT📖: "Esther 6:1 - 12"
SERMON: "It's My Season to Shine Again"
with the GUEST SPEAKER:🗣️ Rev. Steve S. Kanu.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SHINE AGAIN?
It means to shine after being down, to recover after loss to walk again after being overlooked.

🤙🏻There are seasons in life when everything seems to be working in your favour. You're shinning, but when it stops...
It's one thing to have never been celebrated or when people use to do it & suddenly they don't recognize you.

SIMILARLY, LET ME TELL YOU WHAT MORDECAI WENT THROUGH IN LIFE.
A Benjamite whom Nebudchadnezar had carried away. He raised Esther & invested in her from captivity. And suddenly in Esther 1:17, Esther became the Queen instead of Vashti.

*Your delay does not mean God has cancelled your season!!!
* There was a season when MORDECAI went from the possibility of shinning to sitting at the Gate.
* What was lost can be found again!!!
* What was destroyed can be restored.
* What stopped shinning can shine again?

In Psalm 30:5, "For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning."
The humiliation is not forever. Your season is shinning.

❗TWO THINGS TO MAKE YOUR SEASON TO SHINE AGAIN.

(1) God can remember you when people have forgotten you.
In Esther 6:1, the Bible says the King couldn't sleep & he asked to bring his Book of Records.
* The time that the King couldn't sleep, there was a meeting taking place in Mordecai's house. Whiles Haman was planning Mordecai's death God was planning his lifting.

👉🏻 For your season to shine again, what is your Record?
Mordecai's recognition was delayed but the record wasn't destroyed.
🫵🏻People may forget your sacrifice but God does not forget your faithfulness...
