Just a reminder to all the independent artists out there.. never stop making music!

People are only focused on south Sudan artists, but I don’t understand why no one is talking about how our dance industry is improving.

I am appealing to everyone who supports the entertainment industry: music is just one aspect of it. Brizzy De Dancer and many others are doing an amazing job of showcasing south Sudan through dance. We should start supporting and celebrating them as well.

The sad truth about south Sudan music is that it’s hard to know which songs are gaining attention because of genuine talent and which are driven by hype or outside influence.

Everything is influenced by money.

Most streamed song? Paid.

Most played song? Paid.

Most watched video? Paid.

Number 1 on the chart? Paid.

Nothing is as it appears. Nothing is organic.

Much of the industry is manufactured and fueled by money, yet it’s packaged and sold as if it were genuine, organic growth.
