Long ago, in a small village where a great river met the endless sea, there lived a young woman named Amara.

Amara was known throughout the village for her kindness. Every morning, she walked to the river to fetch water. She often sat beside the water and spoke softly to the river, believing that the river carried the voices of those who had come before her.

One evening, as the sun disappeared beneath the horizon, Amara heard a strange sound coming from the river.

It sounded like a child crying.

She followed the sound until she reached a quiet place where the river flowed toward the sea.

There, resting among the reeds, she discovered a mysterious baby wrapped in a shining blue cloth.

Amara looked around, but there was no one nearby.

She lifted the baby into her arms.

The moment she did, the wind stopped.

The river became completely still.

Then a soft voice seemed to rise from the water:

"Protect this child, and one day the sea will reveal its secret."

Amara was frightened, but she refused to abandon the baby.

She took the child home and raised him as her own.

She named him Nuru, meaning light.

As Nuru grew older, strange things began to happen.

Whenever he came near the river, the water seemed to move toward him.

Fish gathered near his feet.

Birds flew above him in circles.

And whenever he cried, the waves of the distant sea became unusually loud.

The villagers began to whisper.

Some believed Nuru was blessed.

Others feared that he belonged to the spirit world.

Amara ignored their words.

To her, Nuru was simply her child.

Years passed.

One night, a terrible storm came from the sea.

The wind shook the village.

Huge waves crashed against the shore, and the river began overflowing its banks.

The First Daughter (Part 1). It was a quiet morning in the village. The compound was already filled with the usual activities of the day. The First daughter Alima, has finished cooking and stepped away from the kitchen for a while to wash clothes, leaving the pot of soup behind.

Kamso had been watching from a distance.

The moment she noticed that nobody was around, she quietly sneaked into the kitchen. She looked around carefully to make sure she was alone before walking toward the pot.

The delicious smell of the meat made her even more eager.

She opened the pot, quickly picked a piece of meat, and turned around to leave.

But as she moved, her hand accidentally knocked against something beside the pot.

A plate fell to the ground and broke.

Kamso froze.

Her heart began beating quickly as she looked toward the entrance of the kitchen. Nobody had come yet.

She quickly ran out with the piece of meat and hid behind the house, where she could watch what would happen without being seen.

Not long after, their mother returned to the kitchen.

The moment she saw the broken plate, she stopped.

She looked around the kitchen and noticed that the pot had also been disturbed. Anger immediately filled her face.

She stepped outside and began looking around the compound, trying to figure out who had entered the kitchen.

Then she saw Alima.

Alima, the eldest daughter, was outside washing clothes and hanging them carefully on the rope. She was completely unaware of what had happened.

Their mother immediately suspected her.

She called Alima and accused her of entering the kitchen and breaking the plate.

Alima was shocked. She tried to explain that she had been outside washing clothes and had not entered the kitchen.

But her mother refused to listen.
