The journey has officially begun! 🌸
We marked the successful launch of the BanatRise Mentorship Program Cohort 3, bringing together an inspiring group of young women and girls ready to learn, grow, and lead.
Our first session focused on self-discovery, building confidence, and laying the foundation for a transformative mentorship journey. This is more than a program—it’s a safe space where girls will develop life skills, strengthen their leadership abilities, and gain the knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions and create positive change in their communities.
We are excited to walk this journey with our amazing participants and witness their growth over the coming months.
A heartfelt thank you to Amref Health Africa in South Sudan for supporting this initiative, with funding from UNFPA South Sudan, as we continue investing in the potential of girls and young women.
Together, we are empowering girls to rise, lead, and thrive.

Banat Power Initiative was honored to participate in the Citizen Talk for Peace, organized by CEPO in partnership with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). The dialogue brought together citizens to reflect on the vital role each of us plays in promoting peace, unity, and social cohesion within our communities.
The discussions reinforced an important message: sustainable peace is built through open dialogue, mutual understanding, respect, and collective action. Every voice has the power to inspire change, and every positive action brings us one step closer to a more peaceful and united South Sudan.
As an organization committed to empowering girls and young women, we believe that peace is everyone’s responsibility. By equipping young people with leadership skills and creating safe spaces for dialogue, we can help build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Together, let’s continue to be ambassadors of peace and champions of positive change.

At Banat Power Initiative, we believe that empowered young people are powerful agents of change.
we were proud to partner with Jama Tech Ltd during the Project Green Loop outreach program at Bright Boma Star Mixed Day & Boarding School. The activity brought together students from the Environmental Club and Health Club to learn about climate change, responsible waste management, recycling, and environmental sustainability.
Beyond awareness, the students demonstrated leadership through action by participating in a waste-cleansing campaign and supporting efforts to create a cleaner and healthier school environment.
As Banat Power Initiative, we remain committed to supporting programs that empower young people with practical skills, leadership opportunities, and a sense of responsibility toward their communities and the environment.
We commend the students, teachers, Jama Tech team, and all partners who contributed to the success of this activity.
Together, we are nurturing a generation of leaders who care for people, communities, and the planet.
🌍 Empower. Lead. Transform.
🌱 Rethink the Waste, Root the Future.
