Be like a bridge that reconnects the paths broken by fear, pride, and poisoned beliefs.

In a world where misunderstandings divide hearts and judgment builds walls, choose to become a bridge rather than another barrier. A bridge does not ask who is worthy to cross—it simply stands firm, offering a way forward where none seems possible.

Many people carry wounds disguised as opinions, bitterness disguised as certainty, and pain disguised as hatred. Their beliefs have been poisoned not because they were born cruel, but because life taught them through hurt instead of understanding.

The truly wise do not add more division to an already fractured world. They become a quiet connection between lost souls and forgotten compassion. They listen where others condemn, understand where others accuse, and offer kindness where others offer judgment.

For every act of genuine kindness repairs a small part of what fear has broken. And sometimes, the greatest purpose of a human life is not to win arguments or prove others wrong, but to become the bridge that helps people find their way back to their humanity.

JUBA LOVE WITHOUT MONEY—LOVE AT FIRST AIRTIME

‎ In Juba, love does not begin with “I love you.”—‎ It begins with:
‎“Baby, send me something small.”

‎ And if you are a broke man like me, that “small” is not small It is a financial earthquake.

‎ My name is Dr kaman Bol

‎ I was not poor…....
‎ I was just temporarily suffering from a permanent lack of money.

‎ That afternoon, the sun in Juba was hot enough to fry an egg in your future. I was standing near a small shop, pretending to be busy, when I saw her.

‎Asunta.

‎ Walking like she had never suffered in her entire life.

‎ Her steps were slow… confident… dangerous.

‎ Even the dust on the road respected her.

‎ I looked at my pocket.
‎Empty.

‎ I looked at her again.
‎Full package.

‎ That was the beginning of my problem.

‎“Guy, greet her,” my friend Arop Deng Ngong whispered.

‎I swallowed. “With what confidence? I only have 50 SSP and emotional damage.”

“Confidence is free,” Arop said.

‎“Then why don’t you use yours?” I replied.

‎ But before I could run away, she looked at me.

‎Eye contact.

‎Finished.

‎“Hi,” she said.

‎ That “hi” alone reduced my bank account spiritually and emotionally.

‎“Hello,” I replied, trying to stand like a man with assets.

‎We talked. Small talk. Big lies.

‎ I told her I was “working on something.”

‎ She nodded like she knew I was unemployed.

‎ Then came the moment.

‎“Do you have WhatsApp?” she asked.

‎ That question is not normal in Juba.
‎ It is a test.

‎“Of course,” I said.

‎She smiled.

‎ That evening, kaman received his first message.

‎Asunta: “Hey 😊”

‎My heart beat like generator.

‎We chatted.

‎Then it came—‎The sentence that separates boys from men

‎“Can you send me airtime? My data is finished.”

I said to myself that ‎Dr. Kaman is finished I successfully froze.

‎I looked at his phone.
‎I looked at his balance.

‎50 SSP.

‎My entire economic system.

‎ Inside my head, two voices started fighting.

‎ Voice 1: Don’t do it. This is your last money.
‎ Voice 2: If you don’t do it, another man will.

‎Then Dr. Kaman chose love.

‎Wrong decision.

‎“Sent,” I replied.

‎Immediately.

‎No hesitation.

‎ No future planning.

‎Just foolishness.

‎ She replied with a heart emoji ❤️

‎And that heart…
‎That one heart…

‎ Was the most expensive thing Dr Kaman has ever bought in his doctorate life.

‎ That night, Dr. Nguel'kec kaman slept hungry.

‎But emotionally…
He was in a relationship.

‎To be continued, class dismissed

PEOPLE WHO CARRY PRIDE LIKE THEY WERE BORN WITH A CERTIFICATE SIGNED BY GOD HIMSELF.

There are certain categories of human beings who move around with confidence so dangerous, you’ll think they own half of Earth and leased the other half to heaven.

1. SPLM/SPLA and SPLM/A-IO politicians
The confidence? Unlimited. Even when discussing ordinary things, they sound like peace agreements are about to be signed.

2. Nurses and doctors in low-budget hospitals
You greet them politely: “Good morning.”
They answer with eyes saying: “You again? Are you sick or just wasting oxygen?”

3. Girls sitting in front seats of their boyfriend’s cars
The way they inspect pedestrians outside… sister, relax. The Toyota belongs to Brian on loan.

4. Non-academic university staff
You ask where the office is. They answer as if you requested state secrets.

5. Course representatives in university
One semester in leadership and suddenly they behave like they’re addressing the United Nations.

6. People in charge of food at occasions
Those ones become immigration officers.
“Who invited you?”
“Which side are you from?”
“Have you eaten already?”
Brother, it’s rice and beans—not citizenship.

7. Church ushers
Some act like heaven’s gate pass through them first.
Late by five minutes and they es**rt you to the back seat like disciplinary action.

8. Best friends of rich men
They become rich by association.
No job. No business. But the pride? Billionaire energy.

9. People wearing heavily starched clothes
Walking with one hand raised permanently.
At first you think they’re greeting people—later you realize the shirt is too stiff to allow movement.

10. ARC truck drivers
The way they look at civilians while driving… you’ll think the truck contains family inheritance and royal treasures.

11. Achai Wiir boys and girls
Confidence level: Premium package. Explanation unavailable.

12. J1 residents
Some move like being there automatically means direct consultation with the president.

13. City Council offPEOPLE WHO CARRY PRIDE LIKE THEY WERE BORN WITH A CERTIFICATE SIGNED BY GOD HIMSELF.

You ask a simple question; they answer as if they personally founded Juba.

14. Public university students
Some believe private university students are extras in the movie of life.

15. iPhone users
Battery at 4%, cracked screen, borrowed charger… but superiority remains fully charged.

16. Followers of famous people
Their loyalty exceeds family bonds. Defend celebrities with energy they’ve never used for exams.

17. Certain camp residents
The confidence of some people under difficult situations deserves scientific research.

18. Thongpiny landlords and landladies
The way they collect rent, you’d think the land has been in the family since creation—meanwhile their own uncle owns everything.

19. Ministers’ drivers
Sometimes speaking with them feels like requesting an appointment with the minister himself.

20. Petroleum engineering students
Studying oil and gas today, behaving like tomorrow’s oil minister already.

THE DAY JUBA ROADS MADE ME KISS A STRANGER BY FORCE.

Juba will humble you when you least expect.

Yesterday morning I entered bus from Hai Referendum going to town. If you know Juba transport, you already know wahala.

Bus conductor packed us like sardines.
Our row was meant for 3 people. We were 4. My ribs were doing peace negotiations with the person next to me.

Now everybody knows that road from Hai Referendum to Gudele. That road is not road o. It’s government punishment disguised as gravel.

Driver was flying that bus like he had visa to heaven. No brakes, no mercy, just prayers.

Then GBRRAAA! Bus entered one pothole that could swallow a boda boda.

Before I knew it, my face COLLLIDED with the girl next to me. Full package. Lips to lips. National accident.

MY PEOPLE… The girl jumped up like she touched live wire. Fire was in her eyes.
“You this man! Are you mad?! Why are you kissing me?!”

Whole bus turned to VAR referee. Even conductor paused counting money.

I raised both hands like wanted criminal: “Sister, God is my witness! Na road! This is government’s fault, not my own!”

Before I could explain further, devil entered driver’s radio.
He played a song. The one praising government for “good roads”.

UPBEAT. CATCHY. WICKED TIMING. 😭🔥

Entire bus groaned at once. One man shouted: “Driver, are you normal?!”

An old man next to us faced the girl and said softly:
“My daughter, calm down. This gentleman didn’t plan it. With these roads, many of us even lose our balls before reaching Gudele. Forgive him.”

Then one mama at the back vexed:
“Whoever sang that song and whoever is playing it, heaven will reject both of you! That government has not done anything!”

Whole bus burst into laughter. Even the angry girl started smiling.

She looked at me, shook her head, and said: “Next time, hold the seat.”
I said: “Next time, I’ll trek.” 😭

So ladies… if Adam’s son mistakenly kisses you inside Juba bus, don’t fight him.
Fight the potholes. Fight government. Fight the driver playing dangerous music.

Because in this Juba, roads will make you do things you never planned. 😭🔥

Yesterday night, after one “very important” official function where people were speaking grammar that even Google Translate would reject… I left there feeling like a whole senator of confusion.

No fuel in my body. No money in my destiny. Just vibes and unpaid responsibilities.

So I entered bodaboda.

The ride was peaceful. Wind was blowing like my problems had finally taken leave. I was even nodding my head like life was under control.

We reached my house.

I came down gently… paid the man… adjusted my shirt like a responsible citizen… then started walking toward my gate like landlord of suffering.

That’s when my village people pressed PLAY.

I glanced back small…

And I saw him.

The bodaboda guy.

Following me.

Not normal following o… This one was “I know what you did last night” type of following.

My brain immediately shouted: “MY BROTHER… TODAY IS YOUR LAST EPISODE!”

I didn’t argue. I just changed direction instantly like corrupt politician changing party.

But this man?

HE FOLLOWED.

I increased my speed.

HE INCREASED HIS OWN.

At this point, my heart started doing press conference: “We regret to inform you… you are finished.”

I began walking fast-fast.

The man started riding fast-fast-fast.

Fear entered my bones, my blood, my future children.

Next thing…

I RAN.

Not jogging. Not exercise.

I RAN like JEDCCO took light while I was charging my phone at 2%.

People in the street were confused: “Is this guy mad or sponsored by Adidas?”

Behind me, this man on bodaboda, chasing me like I stole his destiny.

Dust was rising. My slippers were negotiating independence. My dignity had already died and been buried.

Finally… my body said: “Boss, if you like, keep running… I’m logging out.”

I stopped.

Turned slowly like action film hero that has accepted death.

In my mind: “One of us must go down today… but it will not be me without explanation!”

I faced him.

Chest out. Fear inside. Sweat flowing like River Nile.

Then I shouted with the last strength in my village lineage:

“WHY… ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME??!!”

The man looked at me…

This guy just looked at me like a disappointed father.

Then in the softest voice of wickedness, he said:

“Boss… give me my helmet.”

……

…………

HELMET???

MY HELMET???

That was when thunder fired my brain.

In all my running, shouting, dying, resurrecting…

I was holding this man’s helmet like national treasure.

I basically stole his property and was doing Olympics with it.

Even shame looked at me and said: “I can’t associate with this level of nonsense.”

I just stood there… Breathing like generator that has seen too much… Holding helmet like evidence in court case of stupidity vs common sense.

My people…

If foolishness was money, I would sponsor the next election.

Make nobody shout for me abeg… My headache now has seniority.

Somebody please…

Bring Panadol.

URGENTLY.
