Father’s Day always brings back memories of my father, whom I lost after a short illness in 2012. Though he is no longer here, his love, guidance, and the lessons he left behind continue to shape my life every day.

Today, I remember him with gratitude and pray for all those who, like me, carry the memory of a beloved father in their hearts.

As we honor our fathers and loved ones who have passed on, I encourage you to watch and listen to "Benerom," a touching tribute by South Sudanese activist and musician Manasseh Mathiang in memory of his late father, Reverend Mathew Mathiang Deng. The song is a beautiful message of remembrance, love, and healing for everyone who has lost someone dear.
