Projection Foundation

The Projection Foundation combines village-based media production & rural open air film festivals to link ‘offline’ communities to regional and global information networks. We address growing technological inequity by providing ‘offline’ communities without widespread access to the Internet with: (1) the tools and training necessary to produce digital media with a perspective on local community challenges, and (2) the resources to exchange their stories through local cinema screenings, regional open air film festivals, and a representation within global social media networks.
