Thai Street Paws Rescue

Oliang has been bitten by a cobra 😢

Sweet little Oliang was found with a swollen face this morning during feeding time. She ate well and seemed her usual self, but we had her checked by the vet just in case. Blood work was fairly normal, so she was send home with some medications.

This afternoon during feeding, one of our staff informed me that Oliang wouldn’t eat and that she seemed lethargic. She also found a dead cobra and I immediately had her taken to the vet. Blood was taken and in a matter of hours, some reading had spiked!

The swelling in her mouth from this afternoon seems to have subsided, but she is drooling excessively and appears lethargic. She has been given cobra antivenom serum, anti-inflammatory medication, a saliva-reducing medication, antibiotics and she needs to be admitted at the vet for observation. Her condition is uncertain at this time 💔 We desperately need your help with her vet expenses.

Please keep Oliang in your thoughts. This is devastating and I am worried sick about her. Please keep fighting sweet girl x

I can’t believe it has been 2 years since our beautiful Adele left us 💔

My heart aches for Adele and so many others at our sanctuary who never find their forever homes. Dealing with the grief when they pass is hard, but knowing they never had their very own home is devastating.

I know you are having fun at the rainbow bridge sweet girl, but I miss you every single day. You were our matriarch xx

Our rent is due tomorrow. I totally lost track of the date! I’m really struggling with grief, anxiety, working and running the rescue. Oh and having problems with our Aussie bank account again! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know times are tough, so every little bit helps.

I am truly sorry for being slack with updates, I promise to be back soon with more regular posts. Thanks and much love x

Thankfully Ted’s leg has healed well, after being bandaged for a hair line fracture. Thanks for your support x

🐾 Happy International Dog Day 🇹🇭

Today is a day to celebrate dogs everywhere — the happy ones with loving families, the cheeky ones who steal our socks and the precious souls who are still waiting for their chance at a safe and loving home.

But for the dogs we rescue from the streets of Thailand, every day can be a struggle.

Behind every rescue is a dog who needs food, veterinary care, medication, vaccinations, shelter, love and time to heal. And behind every one of those dogs is a rescue team working tirelessly to keep them safe.

Thai Street Paws Rescue can only continue because people like YOU care! 🐶❤️

Your donation, no matter how big or small, helps us keep rescuing dogs who have nowhere else to turn.

❤️ $10 can help provide food
❤️ $25 can help with essential veterinary care
❤️ $50 can help towards medication, vaccinations or treatment
❤️ Every donation helps

They may be street dogs, but they deserve a life filled with love ❤️

Today, on International Dog Day, please consider giving a gift and help us keep Thai Street Paws Rescue running 🐕

Thanks everyone for your amazing support, we are so thankful. It is a daily struggle and the increase in every day items is beyond ridiculous! Electricity is more expensive in Thailand than it is in Australia! I look at our dogs and worried sick how we can provide them with everything they need. This is extremely upsetting and I have been consumed with stress. I’m absolutely exhausted, hence the lack of updates!

It never ends! Yesterday poor Ted was limping on his front left leg. He was taken to the vet, Xray and blood work done. Xray showed a hairline fracture. The leg has been bandaged, hoping the hairline fracture will heal.

Ted’s vet visit included an xray, blood check, injections and his leg bandaged. Any help with his outstanding vet bill of 2700 baht / $117 AUD / $82 USD would be appreciated.

We are thankful for your support. Much love x
