64 Years of Independence! ✨🇹🇹

Today, we celebrate the spirit, strength, and resilience of our beautiful twin-island nation. ❤️🖤🤍

May we continue to uphold the values of liberty, justice, unity and equality, while building a Trinidad and Tobago filled with peace, prosperity, opportunity, and hope. 🇹🇹🌺

Let us honour where we’ve come from, appreciate where we are, and work together towards a brighter future for generations to come. 🙏🏽✨

Happy 64th Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago! 🇹🇹
One Nation. One People. One Future. ❤️🖤🤍

As a youth advocate, I believe being young is not simply about having a voice—it’s about using that voice productively, purposefully and consistently to create meaningful change. 🗣️💙

Regardless of where we come from or the challenges we face, young people share common aspirations: opportunity, inclusion, dignity, purpose and a seat at the table. 🌱🚀

Let’s continue to turn our ideas into action, advocate for our communities, create opportunities for others and be the change we want to see. 🙌🏽🔥

Different backgrounds. Different journeys. One generation with the power to make a difference. ✨

Happy International Youth Day! 🇹🇹🌍💙

Today, we celebrate the Steelpan! Birthed right here in Trinidad and Tobago and one of the greatest cultural contributions our twin-island nation has given to the world. 🌎🎶

Born from our creativity, resilience, innovation and the rich cultural melting pot of our people, the Steelpan is more than just an instrument — it is a symbol of who we are. 🇹🇹❤️

Today, we honour the pioneers who transformed discarded steel into an instrument that would change the world. We celebrate our pannists, arrangers, tuners, steel orchestras and everyone who continues to preserve, develop and take this uniquely Trinidadian creation to new heights. 👏🏾🔥

Happy 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! 🎶
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗻 ❤️🇹🇹

Grateful to have attended the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 hosted by the CTU Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) in collaboration with The UWI St Augustine The UWI. 🤖🌍🇹🇹

The future of AI is being shaped today, and it was inspiring to be part of conversations on governance, innovation and the Caribbean’s digital transformation. As a youth advocate, I believe young people must have a seat at the table—we’re not just the future; we’re helping shape it. 💡🙌🏽

Yesterday I had the chance to take part in the 22nd National Youth Parliament, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. 🇹🇹✨

We spent the day tackling a topic that hits close to home for so many young people: cyberbullying. It was powerful hearing different perspectives, sharing ideas, and really digging into what safer digital spaces could look like for us.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent youth voices and to learn from everyone in the chamber. Experiences like this remind me why I’m passionate about public service and why I keep showing up.

Here’s to growth, good conversations, and the work ahead. 💬📱🔥
