Square one started as a General Contracting company taking on everything from bathrooms to basements and full renovations. No gimmicks, no upsell patterns.
Today we’ve narrowed our focus to what we enjoy building the most, custom carpentry and media accent walls. Square One Home Solutions provides full-scale residential renovation with a focus on precision, clean finishes, and reliable timelines. The core work includes bathroom remodels, basement build-outs, interior painting, drywall repair and installation, and full home-update projects. The company operates as a faith-driven contractor that delivers disciplined planning, clear scopes, and consistent ex*****on, with personalized care that turns customers into long-term friends.
This homeowner has an 11 foot high basement ceiling 🤯 needed a fireplace accent wall. Custom color shiplap, and vertical. 72” Touchstone sideline Elite Pro fireplace as well. We’ll be back Monday to wrap it up
Solo day today. No Levi and no fireplace accent walls.
These are the things I still do while waiting for the accent walls to pick up. I don't post general construction content anymore bc I want to tocus solely on one day accent walls. Still need to make money and pay the bills so this type of work does come clutch to fill in some days.

As stressful as having a business is at times, i honestly
love my job! I think my favorite part of having a construction company is meeting so many different homeowners. And for the most part, 99% of them have been amazing. Making people's visions into reality is cool. From thought to reality. Boom a plain wall, into a feature wall in typically one day. This job was really fun.
Homeowners were awesome. Sconce lighting definitely gives off some type of vibes. We added the light switch on the side so everything is all hardwired. I love using the Touchstone Fireplaces. They're so sleek and of great quality. Under mount mantle lighting gives off an ambient feel at night. Love the color of these Acoustic Wall panels as well. We are planning for a very busy November and December. We'll see how it goes. 🧱 x 🧱
Plain wall → focal point.
Dark wood acoustic slats, integrated LED lighting, and a Touchstone electric fireplace completely transformed this second story den area.
Designed and built by One Day Accent Walls.
Financing options available.
Another Fireplace Accent Wall done 🔥🔥
this one stole the show. All the features in this one. I love the sconce lighting, elevates the look. Acoustic wall paneling, under mount mantle lighting, sconce lighting, 72” Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace.
Fireplace Accent Wall in Streetsboro 🔥🔥🔥 no joke I’m not sure if homeowners are trying to compete with each other who is the best homeowner to work at but I’ll tell you what, these ones will be hard to beat. Very awesome to work with and had drinks and bought pizza for us. This accent wall came with all the features. Undermount mantle lighting, sconce lighting, acoustical paneling with a 72” Touchstone fireplace. More to come…
Levi got hurt last week and hasn’t been able to work at all this week. He tried to come back earlier, but just wasn’t ready yet, so I’ve been running as a one-man crew the last few days.
Then today, I managed to shoot myself in the finger, so we’ll see what tomorrow brings and whether I’m able to work.
It’s definitely been a crazy few days, but through it all, God is still good. I’m thankful for His protection, His grace, and this beautiful life He’s given me. There’s always something to be grateful for.
