ALL while working full-time with the children home for summer….

Yesterday I got to take a solid morning to do some prep and make some lists and the getting ready for the Realm Makers in two weeks. I can’t wait to see you all there!!

The Expo is open to the public so anyone that is in St. Louis at the time can go. It’s like a con with film screenings, author signings, panels, and more!

I will also have a table there this year!

Have you ever heard of the Bechdel Test?

Every since I learned what it was I tend to put everything through this lense — I’m highly paranoid that my characters are developed authentically and fully and so care about things like this — so it’s fun for me!

And just to curb you all — things can be good without passing this test — that’s not what it’s about — sometimes great stories don’t pass for different reasons (LOTR comes to mind just because two women don’t talk to each other in the movies lol but the women are still strong!)

But still think it’s fun to think about, consider and mention in this day and age! What about you?

Uncovered Earth is DONE!
