🏆 award-winning alt-rock weirdos bringing sadness, madness, & mayhem to a city near you 🎪🪩
This unexpected folk-rock orchestra materialized out of Albuquerque, but they might as well have slipped through an intergalactic portal or stowed away on a derelict spacecraft before crashlanding in the desert. Dust City Opera tells harrowing tales of sadness, madness, and mishaps. With each performance illuminating the space between death and humor, this quintet becomes the soundtrack to stories steeped in cosmic horror and captivation. They will draw you deep into their mad world of storytelling, so enter with caution. You may find yourself abducted by ancient aliens, lost in haunted fog, or more fascinating yet: face-to-face with your own insanity, with no way out. Label: [email protected]

We just hit our 8 year anniversary as a band?! 🥹To celebrate our bandiversary, here are 8 of our favorite memories as a band. Let us know your favorite DCO memory and if you haven’t already, you should definitely join our mailing list for cool (and free) stuff!
-Getting silly on Brenda’s porch with Bryce
-Losing our s**t loudly at a pizza joint in Trinidad over a stupid cracker barrel joke
-Playing on a LITERAL MOVING BUS in Boise at Treefort
-That first show with Jesse at La Sala when we debuted Drunk on a Ladder
-Raising 20+ thousand american dollars to fund our award-winning album Alien Summer
-Mayhem!! (can’t pick one, so let’s just say all of them)
-Filming our Bands of Enchantment episode for all the world to see
-That one time in Amarillo that a fan heard us playing from across the street, recognized our music from hearing us online, and brought his whole crew to party
