We promised Part 2—and it’s here!
Turn it up and get comfortably numb as Eden Kirkland Music joins the Southern Rhythm Revival house band for another unforgettable Pink Floyd classic.
Eden’s powerhouse vocals take center stage in the Ranch's live room—and it’s hard to believe she’s still in high school! Soak in her performance and share it with a fellow Floyd fan. Can you guess the final song that will be Part 3?
The band:
Mark Allan Wolfe — guitar and BGVs
Rob Ocello — keys
Earl Wasserman — bass
Brian Henry— drums, tracking, and mixing
Who should be Southern Rhythm Revival’s next guest artists? We have the next one scheduled, but are still on the hunt—drop your suggestions in the comments or light up our phone!

Today, the Ranch welcomed the next generation of music creators! Students from Promise Preparatory Academy, led by Professor J.T. Lee, as they stepped inside the studio for a hands-on tour of how recording spaces have evolved—and why their creative energy still matters. We explored signal flow, analog tape, talked about AI’s negative impact on artistic creativity, and watched several students jump into the vocal isolation booth to record some seriously cool vocals.
The best review of the day? “I never want to leave this place!” For students raised in the digital era of bedroom and basement recording, the visit offered a fresh appreciation for the vital role professional studios play in bringing real human music to life.
Their excitement even wore out studio dogs Teddy and Paisley!

Where young voices learn to create unforgettable songs!
The Ranch’s fourth Youth Singer-Songwriter Collective put the spotlight on the power of storytelling through music. Guest speaker and English teacher George Seaman delivered an inspiring deep dive into writing purposeful lyrics that connect, resonate, and turn ideas into songs. After an engaging hour of insights and audience questions, George left aspiring songwriters with core essential tips including keeping a notebook close to capture every spark of inspiration before it disappears, and not to be satisfied until the perfect lyric reveals itself. The group also spoke about the power and magic of song and performance imperfections that demonstrate authenticity.
Then the stage belonged to the next generation of artists! Izzy and David of the quickly rising youth band CarbonHarry, Ethyl Lewallen, Eden Kirkland Music, and youth host Alex Boyer each shared an original song and received valuable feedback from George and fellow attendees. Eden also recently joined the Ranch’s Southern Rhythm Revival house band to perform several Pink Floyd masterpieces —another exciting milestone for this rising young talent! https://youtu.be/U8UxOTzhbmE?si=A6bLVGECgG6dRVBo
A huge thank-you to Donley's Music for supporting this vital youth series and helping emerging artists find their voice, sharpen their craft, and take the stage with confidence.
Collective #5 is coming soon—follow along and stay tuned for the next lineup, mentor announcement, and more original music from our rising artists!
Please reach out if you are aware of some youth artists who would like to attend.

American Idol is moving to metro Atlanta. 🎤 The ABC singing competition will shift production from Los Angeles to the Atlanta area for its upcoming 25th season. The show’s exact Georgia studio location has not yet been announced.
One of North Georgia’s favorite young singer-songwriters, Eden Kirkland Music, joined the Ranch’s Southern Rhythm Revival house band last weekend as our September guest artist—and absolutely brought the house down! 🔥
We called the session “Eden Does Floyd,” featuring three Pink Floyd masterpieces recorded live at the Ranch. And wow… can Eden sing Floyd. We invited her because she is great, but we did not expect this (well, actually yes we did . . . )
Turn it up and check out this rendition of “Breathe.” Two more tracks from the session are coming soon—stay tuned!
