Gross is the easy number. Net is the honest one.

Every recruitment ad leads with gross — the billboard-sized figure that sounds like a lot. Every experienced driver knows gross doesn't pay the bills.

Here's the actual flow, drawn out — a $10,000 weekly load becomes $8,500 after our 85% share, then works through lease payment, maintenance, fuel, insurance, admin, trailer rent, and escrow before it lands in the account. Different weeks look different — that's the honest part.

Save this. When you're comparing carriers, ask each one to walk you through the same math. The ones who can — you're talking to a serious operation.

📩 DM "NUMBERS" and we'll send a real settlement from one of our trucks. Not a projection, an actual week.

Sunday is the quiet part of the week. The truck is parked, the loads are delivered, and there's finally a minute to think about where all of this is going.

If you're a driver reading this — you already know what a Sunday afternoon looks like when you're trying to figure out the next move. Whether to stay company. Whether to try ownership. Which carrier is honest and which one's selling a story. What the math actually looks like when nobody's rushing you.

That's the whole reason we run the way we do. We built RUNFOREST around the conversation that happens on a Sunday afternoon — the one where you slow down and ask the real questions. No urgency tactics. No calendar pressure. No signing bonuses dangling in front of decisions you haven't finished making.

If ownership is somewhere on your horizon — six months out, a year out, still deciding — the door's open whenever you're ready. Message us any day, but especially on a Sunday. That's when the best conversations happen.

Drive with a plan. Build toward ownership.

This is the Forest Shop — 1625 S Larkin Ave, Joliet, IL. Not a marketing shot, not a rendering, not a partner facility. Ours.

6 bays. 3 mechanics. 18 to 20 trucks a week rolling through the doors — engines, brakes, king pins, air lines, electrical, trailer work, tires, AC, full engine overhauls and rebuilds. Vadym leads the shop, and the volume keeps the team sharp instead of guessing.

This is what "in-house maintenance" actually looks like — hands on the work, not a phone tree between you and a stranger's garage. When one of our drivers has a covered repair, they come here. When a covered major breakdown takes the truck out for more than 24 hours, the lease prorates for that time.

Alignments and DPF cleaning we handle too, at trusted partners nearby. Honest about what we do on-site and what we don't.

One less phone call. One less lot to sit in. One less thing to figure out on a Wednesday afternoon in Missouri.

Save this. Come see the shop if you're ever near Joliet.

5 terms every driver should understand before signing a lease-to-purchase — a saveable checklist in plain English.

Weekly base is the fixed amount you pay toward owning the truck each week — on our lineup it runs from $750 to $1,100 depending on year and model. Maintenance plan is a per-mile charge that covers repairs — we run Basic at $0.15 for engine and transmission, or Full at $0.22 for the fuller package.

Trial option means two weeks of real driving before you commit to the buyout, with no penalty if it's not the fit. Title transfer happens at the end of the lease — the truck legally becomes yours when the full term is paid off, averaging around 4 years with us. Exit terms are simple: 2 weeks' written notice, return the truck, settle any open balance — no walk-away fee.

These five terms make up the entire structure of a lease-to-purchase. If a carrier can explain all five clearly, in real numbers, you're talking to a serious operation.
Save this. Bring it to any conversation you have — with us or anywhere else.

📩 DM us "TERMS" and we'll walk through each one with your specific situation.

The truck is your office for the next few years — and the office should hold up.

Every unit in our lineup runs with a wrapped wheel and full digital gauge cluster, center touchscreen with navigation and hands-free calling, heated air-ride seats you can actually adjust, and a full sleeper berth with overhead storage.

Small details that compound when you're in the cab 250 nights a year. Comfortable seat = fewer aches. Real storage = less clutter. Digital cluster = fewer surprises.

Our shop isn't a side operation. It's the reason drivers stop worrying about maintenance the day they roll in.

6 bays. 3 mechanics — including Vadym, our lead. Between 18 and 20 trucks moving through the shop every week — that's the volume that keeps our team sharp and our drivers running.

What we handle on-site: PM service, tires, brakes, shocks, air lines, king pins, AC, electrical, trailer work, and full engine overhauls and rebuilds. Heavy mechanical to routine — same team, same standards, same clock.

Alignments and DPF cleaning we handle too, just at trusted partners nearby — because when the job needs specialized equipment, honesty about who does what beats pretending.

When one of our drivers has a covered repair, they roll into our Joliet yard — not a stranger's lot, not a third-party garage, not a two-hour wait for someone to answer the phone.

That's the difference.

New units coming into rotation - Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt. Late-model and brand-new. The specifics get confirmed once each truck is on the yard and ready to inspect, so we're not promising any single unit yet — but the conversation to get in front of them starts now.

Here's how it works: when a new unit is being prepped, April reaches out to drivers already on the list first. You get specs, photos, and the weekly rate before it goes public. You walk through the numbers, ask questions, decide whether it fits. If it's not right for you, you stay on the list for the next one.

No deposit. No commitment. Just first look.

By the time a truck shows up as "available now" on the site, the conversation started weeks earlier. If you're thinking about ownership in the next few months, this is where it begins.

The road doesn't slow down. Something always breaks, something always needs a fix, and every hour a truck sits is an hour it isn't earning.

Most drivers spend that hour hunting for a shop that'll take them, quoting three garages, waiting for a bay to open. That's the tax of running solo.

Our drivers don't. When a covered repair comes up, the truck rolls into our own 6-bay shop in Joliet — in-house mechanics, real turnaround, no third-party runaround. If a covered major breakdown takes the truck out for more than 24 hours, the lease is prorated for that time.

One less thing to worry about. One less phone call to make. One less lot to sit in.
Peace of mind isn't a bonus. It's part of the program.

5 things to compare before choosing a truck - a checklist for anyone weighing lease-to-purchase.

Weekly cost - ask what's built in and what sits outside.
Mileage - specific unit, not fleet average.
Condition - real photos, real inspection.
Maintenance support - in-house or outsourced, and what happens over 24 hours of downtime.
Cab comfort — the office matters when the office is a cab.

Save it. Bring it to any carrier — including us.
