This week we’re putting the 2027 Speed UTV Sand Edition through extensive testing at the Alxa Hero Base. The desert here is one of the toughest proving grounds in the world, making it the perfect place to validate cooling, suspension, durability, and overall performance before production.

Real-world testing is where great vehicles are built. Every mile in the sand teaches us something, this week we logged real miles on the 2027 package

Everyone is committed to continuous improvement, and the 2027 lineup is our biggest step forward. In 2027 we have released again more top speed with the Speed key from 94 to 104 this puts Speed UTV as the fastest production tuned UTVs. With Higher top speed, improved cooling packages and many small refinements throughout the vehicle, we’re focused on delivering the best driving experience possible.

🎉Registration for the 2026 NORRA 500 “Baja Coast Challenge” opens tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, at 12:00 p.m. (noon Pacific Time).

Returning October 8-11, the NORRA 500 combines challenging special stages, breathtaking scenery, and the laid-back atmosphere that has made NORRA a favorite among off-road racers for decades.

Competitors are encouraged to register early to lock in discounted entry pricing through August 14 and to be eligible for the upcoming racer hotel room selection.

Important Dates:
👉Wednesday, July 15, 12:00 p.m. (noon Pacific Time) – Registration opens
👉Saturday, July 18, 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) – Zoom meeting for racers to select San Quintín hotel rooms
👉August 14 - Last day for discounted entry pricing
👉August 14 - Motorcycle entry deadline. A minimum of 20 motorcycle entries is required for the class to compete. If the minimum is not met, all motorcycle deposits will be fully refunded.
👉August 15 - Regular entry fees begin
October 8-11 - 2026 NORRA 500 “Baja Coast Challenge”

Hotel Accommodations:
Racers who complete their event registration before the Saturday, July 18, 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) Zoom meeting will be eligible to participate in the San Quintín hotel room selection.

Safari participants will once again stay at the Santa María Inn as part of the NORRA Baja Experience. Additional information regarding Safari accommodations will be provided separately.

Motorcycle Competitors:

Motorcycles will compete on the same course as the four-wheel competitors using either GPS navigation or approved rally navigation equipment. A $250 deposit reserves your entry and counts toward the August 14 motorcycle entry deadline.

Registration opens tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, at noon Pacific Time. Register early to secure discounted pricing and be ready for the Saturday, July 18, 10:00 a.m. racer hotel room selection Zoom meeting.
