Veterinarians soon diagnosed her with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), a once-fatal disease that had also affected her eyes in a rare way.

Thanks to prompt treatment and dedicated veterinary care, Dorito made an incredible recovery. She is now disease-free, though her vision remains limited and she still needs daily eye drops to keep her comfortable. 🩺🐾

Along the way, something wonderful happened. Dorito's foster mom fell in love with both sisters and made them a permanent part of the family. Today, Dorito spends her days exploring, cuddling, and charming everyone she meets with her sweet, gentle personality.
