My name is Bekah and I can't wait to help you love your home as much as I love mine! I inspire, create and restore your living spaces to bring you joy!
Would you trade your oversized, built-in tub for this?
Sometimes the best upgrade isn’t adding more space, it’s making better use of the space you already have!!
Unpopular opinion: stop obsessing over cabinet hardware measurements 🫣
The key to kitchen hardware that feels custom often comes down to proportion, not a magic number.✨
Instead of stressing over whether your pull should be 5”, 6”, or 7”, let the visual proportion of the piece against your cabinet door be your guide!
This way you can use the hardware you LOVE, even with limited dimension variability!
What’s your take—cabinets to the ceiling or not?
Here’s mine… ✨
Practically: That space above your countertops is either collecting dust or serving a purpose! Those upper cabinets are the perfect spot for seasonal décor, serving pieces, or the kitchen items you don’t use every day.
Proportion: Taking the cabinetry to the ceiling creates a more custom, built-in look, improves the proportions of the kitchen, and helps the entire space feel more cohesive and finished.

There’s always a lot of conversation around using marble in a bathroom… so here’s the information you actually need.
Marble is a natural stone, which means it will develop character over time. One of our favorite tips? ✨If you’re using marble, consider choosing a honed finish from the start✨ It softens the appearance of future etching, making everyday wear much less noticeable than it would be on a polished surface.
Like any natural stone, marble can etch from acidic products, but many light etches can be professionally buffed or re-honed depending on the finish and severity. It also needs to be properly sealed (and resealed over time) to help protect it from staining.
✨The biggest factor isn’t whether marble is “good” or “bad”… it’s whether you’re willing to maintain it.
The quality of the fabrication, installation, sealing, and long-term care will have a much bigger impact on how your marble performs than the material itself. If you love the timeless character that natural stone develops, marble can be an incredible choice. If you’re looking for a completely maintenance-free surface, there may be a better fit for your lifestyle.
The best material is the one that matches both your design style and the way you actually live.
Everyone loves a good before & after… and honestly, we do too.
But there’s truly something so special about the process.
Every project, every client, and every design has inspired little pieces of our most recent project… our kitchen!
We can’t wait to share the finished space, but we also want to bring you along on the journey in the meantime… because it really is one of the best parts 🤍
Measurements, proportions, and clearances aren’t the things most homeowners are dreaming about while planning their brand new kitchen… and that’s OKAY, that’s our job✨
If you’re planning a kitchen without a designer to catch these little decisions before it’s too late, this is one of those tips you’ll want to keep in your back pocket.
Future you will thank you! 💭
What other measurements have you been wondering about?
After more than 20 years of living in a kitchen that never truly felt like the heart of the home, our clients were ready for a change.
One thing that isn’t obvious from these clips is that they didn’t have to sacrifice their dining room to get this kitchen. By reworking the layout they already had, we created a seamless flow that gave them both a kitchen that finally works for everyday life and a dining space that still has its place.
Rather than stripping away the home’s original character, we leaned into it, creating a space that is both functional and beautiful. We love how this came together!!
