Vivid Electric

Hi all, I will have availability to reattach and or replace service masts this week and in to the next. Please reach out if you or anyone you may need assistance. Thank you and stay strong Fox Valley.

Important information for homeowners with storm damage:

If the electrical service mast attached to your home was damaged during the tornado, it must be repaired by a licensed electrician before Menasha Utilities can safely restore power to your property.

The service mast is the metal pipe and weatherhead where the overhead power lines connect to your home, usually near the roof. (Example photo below)

Menasha Utilities is responsible for the power lines leading to your property, but the service mast attached to the house is the homeowner’s responsibility.

Please contact an electrician as soon as possible if you notice the mast is bent, broken, leaning or pulled away from your home. Please refer to Menasha Utilities for information about electricians in the area.

For your safety, stay away from damaged electrical equipment and downed wires.

Wisconsin storms can cause significant damage to homes, including flooded basements and warm b**r. A practical solution to power outages is the installation of a generator inlet on the exterior of your home. This enclosure, when paired with a sufficient generator, will provide 50 amps to support heating/cooling, refrigeration and sump pumps. Please contact us today to schedule an estimate.
