City of Menasha Public Works has their Electronics Recycling Event taking place this Saturday. Check it out!

Here are some useful Windows shortcuts

Most people only use a few Windows shortcuts, but learning a handful of the right ones can save you a surprising amount of time.

From opening File Explorer and Task Manager to snapping windows, taking screenshots, switching desktops, and pulling up your clipboard history, these are some of the Windows shortcuts I actually think are worth knowing.

Save this for later because you’ll probably forget at least one of these the second you need it.

Recycle That Stuff in Appleton, WI will be hosting an in-house Electronics and Appliances Recycling Event to help out with the tornado relief efforts. The event will be held from Monday, August 10th through Friday, August 14th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Along with their usual electronics recycling services, they will be offering free recycling for one (1) free TV or monitor per person per day. To qualify for the free TV/monitor recycling, you MUST show proof of residency confirming that you live in a tornado affected area. Standard rates (prices in comments) will apply for any additional electronics, appliances, or any bulk items or for anyone outside of the affected area. Most small electronic items are free, just make sure to remove ALL batteries before recycling. For a list of items that you can recycle and their fees, go to their website at RecycleThatStuff.com. If you have any further questions, give them a call at (920) 955-3760.

Airbnb scams have jumped 30 times since 2023. And the newest trick is sneakier than ever.

Scammers aren't building fake websites anymore. They're hijacking real verified host accounts, the ones with years of glowing reviews. You book what looks like a legitimate rental, pay, and show up to find a locked door and nobody home.

Three rules that keep you safe:
✅ Pay inside the Airbnb app only
✅ Never wire money or pay by gift card
✅ Skip any link that takes you off the platform

Book smart this summer.
