Here’s to another incredible Learning Day! 😎

Thanks to a fantastic planning committee, our faculty and staff enjoyed outstanding breakout sessions led by their peers like Caring Campus - Cardinal Takover, Faculty Spotlight: Course Transformations, The Art of Pinching and Retreating, and so much more.

We got to start the day hearing incredible stories from Dr. John "Push" Gaines, a former at-risk foster youth turned PhD and founder of PUSH for Dreams, who spoke on the incredible impact our employees have on TVCC students and the entire community. Remember, just one, "I believe in you" can change a life.

On top of Learning Day sessions, everyone enjoyed delicious food from our cafeteria and kicked off their day with coffee and energy drinks from Texpresso Coffee Co.

Thank you to all who made Learning Day happen - we can't wait to see what the Spring Learning Day has to offer us!

Happy Mean Girls Day, Cardinals!

Let's look back when our TVCC Theatre Department presented the Spring 2026 musical Mean Girls!

On October 3, he asked me what day it was.

Happy Mean Girls Day, Cardinals!

This week on the TVCC Palestine Campus, we were able to expand our connections, help save lives, grow as a team, and share our space with Palestine Junior Ambassadors.

This week our electrical line-worker class received their gear in preparation for the hands on portion of class.⚡️👷🏼‍♂️

Our students, staff and faculty shared the gift of life through donating to Carter BloodCare 🩸♥️

📚Wednesday some of the team celebrated our dual credit students at the Athens Campus. Thank you to the Terrell Campus for being our neighbor at the LRC.

👩🏻‍⚖️Thursday the Palestine Area Chamber of CommerceJunior Ambassadors were able to have team building exercises, vote in their new committe members and share in some laughter.

Friday, the campus was closed for the staff and faculty to experience learning day in Athens. It was a day to build connections with a little fun on the side.🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🤣 🎓
