I recently got a home under contract for one of my senior sellers, and one of the most important parts of my job was understanding what mattered most while also protecting my client’s interests during negotiations.

This was a nonconventional transaction, and I was able to negotiate $14,000 in Non-Refundable earnest money, providing an important layer of protection and greater peace of mind. 🤝

METRO ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Grateful for Another Referral

A sincere thank you to my senior services family for another referral. This time, the referral came from a senior placement professional who connected me with a senior homeowner south of Atlanta who is ready to move on to the next stage of his life.

METRO ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Two Hours, One Great Story

A neighbor of one of my Sandy Springs listings recently invited me over to see her home as she considers her options about potentially selling her own home, and what started as a simple look at the house turned into a really enjoyable conversation about the history of the area.

She has lived in the community for many decades and shared stories about raising her family, living overseas earlier in her life, and what Sandy Springs was like when it was still a much quieter, more residential community many decades ago. She even remembered a time when some areas that are now major roads and shopping centers were still open land and farmland. 🐴

It's pretty amazing to hear these stories firsthand from someone who has watched Sandy Springs transform so dramatically over the decades.

It also made me think about how much history can be contained within the walls of a home. Behind every home is an owner with years of memories and stories. 🖤💛

METRO ATLANTA, GEORGIA - Sometimes a Real Estate Transaction Becomes a Relationship ❤️

In a transaction earlier this year, my buyers wrote a letter to the sellers explaining how much they loved their home and hoped to create a lifetime of memories there; the sellers responded in a letter that shared some of their own memories in the home.

That simple exchange created a genuine connection, and when a plumbing problem surfaced after the due diligence period had ended, the sellers proactively took care of it properly — even installing new tile throughout the bathroom at no additional cost to my buyers.
