Peeked in on the duck nest when she was off eating and bathing. That’s a lot of eggs! Still not sure many will survive since she wasn’t that attentive for the 1-1.5 weeks.

I have a new best friend. She loves talking to me and standing on my leg. She’s ran to me twice now when she’s seen/heard me. I can’t wait to get a video of that!

I know it’s AWFUL picture quality but my son took this at night. He left his door cracked open and ALL the dogs took advantage of it. This is a HUGE no for me but he loves the dogs hanging out with him and it’s his bed so I don’t stop it.

Praying we get some babies!!! 1st time laying on a nest and she gets better at laying on them every day so hopefully most of them survive.

You can always find a nicer, bigger, better house but this…this is irreplaceable. Every time we talk about moving to a nicer house w/less land I’m reminded of what I’d be leaving behind. This is just a tiny piece of our land. Yes it’s a lot of work and we don’t have the money to make it “perfect” but it’s perfect enough for me.
