Big news from our friends at the American Racket Sports Association.
The ARA just announced their first National Advisory Board — five leaders from tennis, pickleball, and padel joining forces to strengthen professional networking, career services, and business support across the entire racket sports industry.
Cari Buck. Doug Cash. Andrew Minnelli. Dr. Rommie Maxey. Marcos del Pilar.
Geovanna Boyce serves as Executive Liaison. Shaun Boyce chairs the board.
This is what growing a professional community looks like. Congratulations to everyone involved.

New GoTennis Podcast episode is out.
David Pyrzenski, founder of CourtMatch.ai, joined Shaun Boyce and Bobby Schindler this week. David is a tennis player who joined a new club, used their app, and thought there had to be something better. There wasn't. So he built CourtMatch.
The conversation covers the gap between court reservation and full club automation, why competitors will start looking more like CourtMatch over time, and the nickel and diming problem that has crept into club software pricing.
David also answered our signature King of Tennis question with an idea that involves vending machines at public courts to lower the barrier to entry for kids. Worth a listen just for that.

Most racket sports clubs are not struggling because they lack potential. They are struggling because nobody showed them where to look.
Mike Manzella of ProServe Solutions joins Shaun Boyce and Bobby Schindler on the GoTennis! Podcast to walk through the three things every club should be optimizing. Attention. Retention. Monetization.
He also shares a campaign that took about 10 minutes to set up and made one club over $10,000 in a single afternoon.
And his King of Tennis answer might be the best we have ever heard on this show.

If you were king of tennis, what would you change?
Steve Bellamy, the founder of Tennis Channel, has an answer that might surprise you. Six regional tours instead of one global tour, so a tournament in your city actually has players from your city. Think Dallas Cowboys. Think sold out minor league baseball.
Agree or disagree? Tell us in the comments.

Our full conversation with Steve Bellamy, the founder of Tennis Channel and the new sport TYPTI, is up now.
We talk about starting Tennis Channel from a hundred rejections to a national launch, raising four kids who all played Division I tennis, what pickleball got wrong, and his answer to our signature question, if you were king of tennis, what would you change?
