Behave Atlanta

We’re slingin’ wine in the streets at Kirkwood Wine Stroll this Saturday from 7-10! 🍷🍾

If you want to try some wines, grab a ticket before they sell out at kirkwoodwinestroll.com or just come say hi for free!

We have surprise recipe cards for people who visit our tent! We’ve also roped in some special guest wine pourers, one of whom has been a real MVP for our team this year.

See you there!!!

Good news in politics? It's true! Some positive legislation for kitties for your Sunday :). Click the link the comments to read the article from the LA times. We're back! Somehow it's been 4 years, but Chris and Cathy finally let us back on Petability. The episode was sparked from an article by Katherine Bindley for the WSJ titled "America's Most Dog-Friendly City Has Had Enough." As soon as we read it we had ...thoughts... 👀

Check out the episode at the link in the comments to hear our view point! Hopefully were are allowed back on before another 4 years pass. 😂

Costume reveal! Burnt Sienna 🎨 Silas of the Lambs 🎬, and Hiko de Gallo 🌶️
#

I got very excited about costumes for the Behave pups, Sienna, Silas, and Hiko. The costumes are puns/name related. I will reveal the answers on Halloween and provide more hints as the week goes on!
🎃👻🦇
No dogs were harmed in the making of these costumes…but I can’t say the same for my Canva account.

This is Skipper and she’s here to tell you about cat training - specifically cat integration. It’s not always as easy as letting two cats eat on either side of a gate to get to know one another. There’s lots of nuance and that strategy has its pitfalls! So while Skipper does get frequent exposure sessions with her roommate with a gate, we also do a lot of training one on one with each cat. Skipper is very excited to hang out with her roommate who is … less excited. So skippers training involves getting her to listen to commands, lots of play and enrichment to give her other things to do, and harness training to help with intros later, and potential get her going on adventures! Her people are working very hard and it’s paying off!
🐱
Also you may have noticed Skipper has 3 legs. She was hit by a car and her previous family left her at the vet. One of the techs took her in and brought her to her new family where she is THRIVING. So everyone be proud of Skipper. And her people. And the vet tech. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy October! It’s spooky season and nothing is spookier than two mastiffs going through their first heat cycle! 😳👻❤️

They still crushed their lessons today as usual.

Our wonderful friends and clients at brought Genevieve home to foster last week and I just can't get over her face. If you're looking for a lovely lady to add to your home, look no further! I truly think she's going to be snatched up, so if you like that face, hop to it! Check out more pictures and videos at and look at her adoption link at the link below!

“If you can’t beat ‘em, join them!” - Scout, reformed skateboard chaser. As part of desensitizing Scout to the sound of skateboards rattling by, we let Scout explore one! She was very brave and even stepped on the wobbly moving surface! Inspiring 🛹😎🐶
