It was an honor to speak with students from two local high schools and pour into them through leadership lessons, career exploration, and encouragement for their futures. Every young person has potential—and sometimes, they simply need someone to help them recognize it.

🚨 Calling all 10th–12th grade students—and their parents!

Young people cannot pursue opportunities they have never been exposed to. The V.I.S.I.O.N. Program is designed to open their eyes to new possibilities and help them prepare for life beyond high school.

Visionaries will experience:

A young person's future isn't shaped only by what they're taught—it's shaped by what they're exposed to.
When students are introduced early to successful professionals, leadership opportunities, career pathways, financial literacy, and positive mentors, something begins to change. Their thinking expands. Their confidence grows. They stop asking, "Can I?" and begin asking, "How do I?"
Exposure creates vision.
Vision creates belief.
Belief creates action.
And action changes lives.
That's why our mission goes beyond mentoring. We intentionally expose young people to experiences that many have never had the opportunity to see. Because you can't aspire to what you've never been exposed to.
Let's stop waiting until graduation to prepare our youth. Let's invest in them now—because tomorrow's leaders are being shaped by what they experience today.

The moment I realized my dream of playing college basketball had become a reality, I also carried another dream deep in my heart.

I wanted to see my last name on the back of my college jersey. 🏀

It may not seem like much to some people, but to me, it represented that all the sacrifices, long practices, disappointments, and perseverance had been worth it.

For my first three years of college, that dream never happened. Our team reused the same uniforms every season, so there were no names on the back. Every year I quietly hoped, “Maybe this will be the year.”

It wasn’t.

Then, before my senior season at Kennesaw State University, a new coach arrived with a vision to raise the standard of our program. One of the first changes he made was ordering new uniforms—with every player’s name across the back.

I only had one season left.

The dream I had held onto for years was finally fulfilled—not in my freshman year, not in my sophomore year, not even in my junior year—but at the very end of my college career.

That jersey taught me something I’ll never forget.

Sometimes God allows us to wait—not because He’s withholding the blessing, but because He’s preparing us to appreciate it.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.” — Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV)

Today, whenever I’m tempted to think God is taking too long, I remember that jersey.

His timing has always been better than mine.

If you’re waiting on something you’ve prayed for, don’t lose hope. Keep trusting. Keep preparing. Keep believing.

Your delay may simply be God’s appointment. 🙏🏾

Every week, I meet talented young adults entering the workforce with potential—but many are simply unprepared for what employers expect. Technical skills matter, but so do communication, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. We can do better by preparing our youth before they enter the workplace, not after. The future of our workforce depends on it.
