Cake Envy

In this edition of “Cakes I did”, we have weddings, grooms cakes, an Icing Smiles donation to a child who is suffering terminal illness, two giant Tiramisu’s, 4 fridges full of cakes, a cake-tastrophy (I fixed it…. But DANG!), ridiculously difficult designs, 2 assistants, 3 delivery drivers across 3 states….

Yeah. Fall wedding season is NO JOKE!

Thanks to Tiers Event Concierge & Mini’s by Cake Envy for the delivery assists!

Introducing "Mini's by Cake Envy"!
Run by my daughter in law, who has been working & training with me for months & is now ready to do the small stuff! All the same recipes as my award winning wedding cakes, just smaller!

Cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, cake push-pops, brownies, cake cubes, dessert jars.... you want a dessert buffet? We can now do that! Go give her a follow on Instagram!

Items will be on the web-shop soon, but in the meantime, please email me if you’d like to order anything! [email protected]

Alrighty friends….. here’s my most popular (and biggest PITA) cupcake I’ve ever done. I actually won the southeastern cupcake wars with this one!

These are such a time suck that I discontinued them when I switched to wedding cakes, but a loooong time friend, veteran & police officer requested some & like gam-gam always said, “might as well make while you’re making!”, SOOOOO… I made extras so some lucky people could have them also!

For your palette pleasing pleasure: Pancake cupcakes with salted maple Swiss meringue buttercream, topped with a pancake & bacon and garnished with a pipette of maple syrup.

I have 4 dozen of them. They are $30 per dozen & are ready now!

And with that, the 2026 Spring wedding season comes to an end!
Since mid-April, We made 55 wedding cakes, countless anniv tiers, loads of cake tastings, grooms cakes, kitchen cakes, birthday cakes, and more!!!

I did the math & best I can tell we made almost 500 pounds of buttercream!!!

July will be a welcomed rest before fall wedding season kicks in!

Happy summer, y’all!

I did a whole bunch of these last week for a party and they were such a hit (and so adorable!) that I decided to add them to the shop!
