A Different World reboot Season 2, we're ready for you!!! đ
We kicked off homecoming season with an A Different World reboot watch party, and whew, it was unbelievably fun. Truly, A Different Kind of Watch Party. â¨
Food, fun, friends, and that joyful reunion energy that makes nostalgia feel brand new. The room felt like a homecoming.
The Hillman crew was in the building (Ron, Jaleesa, Freddie, Jim, Whitley, Dwayne, Walter, and maybe even a few of their offspring) showing up in our guestsâ personalities and playful nods to the characters. We may need to check those student IDs! đ
On the menu: Mr. Gaineâs Victory Burgers, Ray Nayâs Ribs, and Chipmunkâs Prune Cobbler. Norfolk State, Virginia State, Clark Atlanta, and Tuskegee alumni were all in the room.
Planned by Norfolk State alumni Andre McManus and Carla Newsome McManus, our very own Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert, and the evening brought a full-circle reunion of former and current cast.

Urbane Renaissance Society is bringing in Fall 2026 HOT. đĽđ Think scandal, secrets, cultural reckonings, and enough drama to make âone more chapterâ a threat to tomorrowâs productivity.
Expect cozy settings and spirited conversationsâwith people saying âI respect your opinionâ while aggressively locating a page number.
