This summer has been a season of continued learning and artistic development for the students of the Atlanta Music Project. Beyond AMP’s own summer music camps and our World Music Festival, several of our students were accepted into competitive summer music programs across the country.

These acceptances reflect our students’ dedication to their craft and the strong foundation they build throughout the year at AMP (kudos to the AMP Teaching Artists!).

We had the opportunity to speak with three AMP students - Da’Janel, David, and Shanae - about their experience at prestigious, summer music programs. We are excited to announce the 4th Annual AMP Music School College Fair on September 12, 2026!

With over 30+ music conservatories and college music programs in attendance, prospective music students will have the opportunity to interact and have first-hand conversations with college representatives from across the nation!

While this is open to everyone, AMP students and families will have the opportunity to enjoy the college fair from 1:30pm-2:30pm before it is open for the general public from 2:30pm-3:30pm.

Ciara to invest $50K in city youth programs ahead of upcoming school year Ciara is once again giving back to the city of Atlanta, this time with a $50K initiative to various city programs for Atlanta youth.

Awaken Musical Possibilities! Auditions are now open for the Atlanta Music Project Youth Orchestras & Choirs for the 2026-2027 season. AMP ensembles provide professional faculty, unites committed student musicians, and presents challenging repertoire guaranteed to bring your artistry to the next level. Strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, and singers visit our program page today to learn more about our orchestral and choral ensembles, our international concerts, and audition requirements. August 10 is the deadline to secure an audition.
